摘要: A system for treating tissue includes a first anchoring device including a first anchoring element at a distal end thereof for anchoring the first anchoring device in a first target portion of tissue extending about a periphery of a tissue defect to be treated and a first suture receiving feature at a proximal end thereof. The system also includes a second anchoring device including a second anchoring element at a distal end thereof for anchoring the second anchoring device in a second target portion of tissue about the periphery of the tissue defect and a second suture receiving feature at a proximal end thereof. Furthermore, the system includes a suture configured to be passed through the first and second suture receiving features such that a tension applied to the suture draws the first and second anchoring devices toward one another to close the tissue defect.

摘要: Methods and devices for at least partially occluding an airway of a lung is disclosed. The method includes deploying a catheter into the airway such that a balloon at a distal end of the catheter is positioned proximate a tissue wall that defines the airway, and inflating the balloon to cause pressure to be applied on a portion of the tissue wall. The method may also include deflating the balloon to cause the portion of the tissue wall to be drawn radially inward to at least partially occlude the airway.

In particular, the devices may include a first conductive elongate member having a first distal bend portion, a first leg portion extending proximally from the first distal bend portion, and a second leg portion extending proximally from the first distal bend portion. The device may also include a second conductive elongate member having a second distal bend portion, a third leg portion extending proximally from the second distal bend portion, and a fourth leg portion extending proximally from the second distal bend portion. The second distal bend portion may be disposed proximally of the first distal bend portion. The device may also include an elongate pull member affixed to the second distal bend portion.

摘要: A system may include an introducer sheath including a retention member configured to anchor the introducer sheath in a natural body lumen having a wall. The system may also have an elongate member extending along a longitudinal axis through a working channel of the introducer sheath. Additionally, the system may have a manipulating portion coupled to a distal end of the elongate member. The manipulating portion may include at least one selectively actuatable member configured to transition between an undeployed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the undeployed configuration, the at least one actuatable member may extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and in at least one position in the deployed configuration, the at least one actuatable member may extend radially outwardly from the longitudinal axis. In the deployed configuration, the manipulating portion and elongate member may be configured to be proximally retracted toward the working channel of the introducer sheath so as to move a distal portion of the wall towards a proximal portion of the wall.

The processor may determine whether there has been relative movement between the device and the tissue based on the detector output signal. The processor may also generate a processor output signal based on the relative movement. The apparatus may also include an actuator assembly engaging the device. The actuator assembly may receive the processor output signal from the processor. The actuator assembly may also move the device based on the processor output signal.
