摘要: A valve slide for a valve unit used as an insufflation and purging valve, which valve slide has a proximal actuating section, which is led through a holder and has an actuating knob. The actuating knob is supported on the holder via a compression spring on the one hand, and wherein an annular projection of the valve slide interacts with the holder as a stop acting in the axial direction on the other hand. At the distal control section of the valve slide, sealing rings are provided, which project radially beyond the valve slide, an outer lateral surface of the distal control section, apart from radial guide sections possibly provided on the latter and the projection, is formed with a smooth wall, and the sealing rings are connected integrally to the smooth-walled outer lateral surface.

摘要: An ear ailment diagnostic device and method in accordance with the present disclosure generally comprises a pair of earpieces, which both further comprise a light source, a magnification lens, an air conduction channel and a miniature camera. The earpieces may optionally comprise a thermometer and/or tympanometer. Each earpiece is coupled to an air conduction tube, an insufflator and an electrical wiring/data tube which is coupled to a computer. The insufflator may be manually, electronically, or battery powered. In the preferred embodiment the computer comprises a smart phone with data processing capability and wireless communication capability. Any data sent from the device can then be interpreted and diagnosed in a remote location so that an accurate treatment is prescribed.

摘要: An assembly for aiding field use of an endoscopic probe is disclosed. The assembly includes a housing assembly for an endoscopic probe and a compatible holder for the housing assembly. The housing assembly includes a tubular conduit for receiving the endoscopic probe and a plug coupled along a distal end of the tubular conduit. The holder includes a pre-configured arm for facilitating an exploration of a pre-determined quadrant of an oral cavity. The explorer includes a plug receiver. Upon coupling the plug receiver with the inversely matching plug, the tubular conduit passes through the opening and into the third axial channel.
