Abstract: A method for determining whether or not a transparent protective cover of a video camera comprising a lens-based optical imaging system is partly covered by a foreign object is disclosed. The method comprises:
obtaining (402) a first captured image frame captured by the video camera with a first depth of field;
obtaining (404) a second captured image frame captured by the video camera with a second depth of field which differs from the first depth of field; and
determining (406) whether or not the protective cover is partly covered by the foreign object by analysing whether or not the first and second captured image frames are affected by presence of the foreign object on the protective cover such that the difference between the first depth of field and the second depth of field results in a difference in a luminance pattern of corresponding pixels of a first image frame and a second image frame. The first image frame is based on the first captured image frame and the second image frame is based on the second captured image frame.-

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a monitoring camera (100) for handling a first and a second video stream (201a, 201b). The monitoring camera (100) obtains a first video stream (201a) from a first image sensor (103a) and a second video stream (201b) from a second image sensor (103b). A field of view of the first video stream (201a) partly overlaps with the second video stream (201b). The monitoring camera (100) identifies a moving object (205) in the overlap area (203). The monitoring camera (100) divides the moving object (205) into a plurality of sub objects (210). The monitoring camera (100) performs a hard handover of the sub objects (210) from the first to the second video stream (201a, 201b) when the sub object (210) is within the overlap area (203) and when a point of the sub object (210) passes a border (208).

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for forming a video stream based on images of a scene captured by a camera. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for enabling an image stabilized video. The method comprises providing data defining a vignetting effect for digital image frames captured by a video camera; determining a dislocation value for a digital image frame captured by the video camera; determining, based on the dislocation value, a region of the digital image frame to be displayed in the image stabilized video; applying a vignetting removal process at least on pixels of the digital image frame corresponding to the region to be displayed in the image stabilized video, wherein said applying being based on the data defining the vignetting effect; and reintroducing vignetting on the region of the digital image frame to be displayed in the video based on the data defining the vignetting effect and the dislocation value.
