Abstract:
A call response method for a vehicle used in a vehicle to respond to a call received from another system includes following steps: performing a call reception previous notification for previously signaling a call reception at a predetermined interval to appeal to one sense or a combination of at lease two senses among a sense of hearing, a sense of smell and a sense of touch of a driver except for a sense of sight of the driver when a call including at least an image is received in the vehicle from another system; and performing a call reception main notification for presenting the image included in the call to appeal to the sense of sight of the driver, after performing the call reception previous notification except of the sense of sight.
Abstract:
A coating insulator layer has plural rows of through holes disposed longitudinally in the coating insulator layer. A plurality of conductors are disposed in parallel with one another longitudinally in the coating insulator layer. Each conductor does not interfere with the through holes. Plural rows of locking projections are longitudinally formed on a face of the coating insulator layer. The locking projection has a construction to engage with the through hole. Thus, when a couple of the wiring substrates are layered, some of the locking projections formed on one of the wiring substrates are aligned to be engaged with some relative through holes of the other wiring substrate, allowing a sure lamination of the wiring substrates. The locking projections are disposed in regular intervals and the through holes are spaced in the same regular intervals. Another wiring substrate is enough flexible to be arranged along a structural wall for wiring. The wiring substrate has a stiffener means disposed in the insulator layer. The stiffener means is positioned not to interfere with the conductors and provides enough stiffness to keep the wiring substrate in a desired shape. The stiffener means has a larger strength than the insulator layer in bending strength and the stiffener means is disposed parallel with the longitudinal direction of the conductors. The wiring substrate has a plurality of through holes which each can be engageable with a locking projection provided on the structural wall.
Abstract:
To provide a beam welding terminal structure which holds a connection member to be connected, such as a wire, from opposite sides thereof, and firmly welds the connection member by irradiation of a beam such as a laser beam, a beam welding terminal structure includes holding walls at opposite sides, and a connection member to be connected is welded to the holding walls by irradiation of a beam. A projection extends from at least one of the holding walls and beyond the connection member in a direction of the height. A rectangular wave-shaped base wall has longitudinal side portions, extending in a direction intersecting the connection member, and transverse side portions extending parallel to the connection member. The holding walls each having the projection are formed respectively on the plurality of transverse side portions, and a pair of opposed holding walls are disposed respectively on opposite sides of the connection member, and are formed on one of the longitudinal side portions or each of more than one of the longitudinal side portions. In another form of structure, central portions of the pair of holding walls are bent inwardly to provide a reduced-width portion, and the reduced-width portion has projections extending beyond the connection member in a direction of the height, and the projection and the holding wall are interconnected by a mountain-like curved guide portion.
Abstract:
For example, if multiple pieces of information arrive at and/or are generated in a vehicle at the same time, MMS optimizes selection of information to be communicated, selection of information communicating means, selection of information communication style and selection of various parameters such as communication timing, according to priority order given integrally to the multiple pieces of information, so as to communicate the multiple pieces of information to a vehicle driver effectively. Further, it communicates information effectively using appropriate resources corresponding to a parameter selected by this optimization.
Abstract:
An improvement to a wire welding method is disclosed in which a wire and a base plate, or a pair of wires, are welded together using a laser beam, and to a wire fixing jig employed in the method. The wire welding method includes the steps of bending an end portion of the base plate to form a bent portion in such a manner that the height of at least a portion of the bent portion is 1.0 to 3.0 times the diameter of the wire, abutting the wire against the bent portion, and directing a laser beam to a junction between the bent portion of the base plate and the wire such that the wire is welded to the base plate. The wire fixing jig includes a base portion, and a pair of holding arms extending from the base portion in a lateral direction and separated from each other by a predetermined distance. Each of the holding arms has a retaining pawl at a distal end for retaining the wire.
Abstract:
An arrangement and method for establishing an electrical and mechanical connection between electrically conductive members. The arrangement includes an electrically conductive connecting member, two electrically conductive metallic members disposed opposite each other, flanking the connecting member, and clamping the connecting member therebetween, and a source of laser energy oriented such that an output beam therefrom is incident on an outer surface of one of the metallic members and directed towards the underlying connecting member to establish a weld connection at zones of mutual contact between the connecting member and the respective metallic members. The connecting member includes a cable or the like and the metallic members include contact terminals, busbars or the like. In the method, the connecting member is positioned between the metallic members and the output beam is radiated on one of the metallic members in the direction of the connecting member so as to weld the connecting member to the metallic members.
