摘要: According to one embodiment, a water demand optimization system includes a management terminal, a measuring apparatus, a demand information generating unit and a water-supply control apparatus. The management terminal drives customer equipment, which performs an operation using water, in a time zone in which a power unit rate is low. The measuring apparatus measures an amount of water used in a dwelling unit. The demand information generating unit generates water demand based on the amount of water. The water-supply control apparatus controls a pump in a manner to meet water demand and to minimize a treatment cost in a water purification plant and a cost for conveyance of clear water with reference to a variation in the power unit rate.

摘要: A plant-operation-schedule optimization system includes a data inputting device transmitting a future operation planned value of at least one plant to be controlled; an operation-data inputting device transmitting operation data concerning the plant; and an operation-schedule calculating unit receiving the operation planned value and the operation data concerning the plant from the data inputting device and the operation data inputting device, respectively, to calculate an optimized operation schedule of the plant. The operation-schedule calculating unit includes an optimization calculator calculating the optimized operation schedule; and a database storing the kind of an operation mode, an operation pattern, and an operation cost according to the operation mode of the plant. The data stored in the database is referred to in the calculation of the optimized operation schedule in the optimization calculator.

摘要: An information recognition circuit comprises a plurality of recognition processing units each composed of a neural network. Teacher signals and information signals to be processed are supplied to a plurality of the units, individually so as to obtain output signals by executing individual learning. Thereafter, the plural units are connected to each other so as to construct a large scale information recognition system. Further, in the man-machine interface system, a plurality of operating instruction data are prepared. An operator's face is sensed by a TV camera to extract the factors related to the operator's facial expression. The neural network analogizes operator's feeling on the basis of the extracted factors. In accordance with the guessed results, a specific sort of the operating instruction is selected from a plurality of sorts of the operating instructions, and the selected instruction is displayed as an appropriate instruction for the operator. Further, the one- loop controller for automatizing operation comprises an input interface section for acquiring image information, an image recognition section for recognizing the image using the acquired image information, a control section for calculating control commands according to the image recognition results, and an output interface for outputting control commands to process actuators or subordinate controllers, respectively.

摘要: An adaptive controller for robots for driving an actuator of a robot arm under servo control where a servo constant is set such that the robot arm follows up a predetermined reference movement orbit. The controller has a switching section for switching between an adjustment mode where the servo constant is adjusted and a servo control mode where the servo constant is already set. Also included is a deviation supervising section for which obtains the deviation of an actual operation orbit of the robot arm from the reference movement orbit thereof, and operates the switching section to change the servo control mode into the servo adjustment mode when the obtained deviation exceeds a predetermined value. The controller also has a dynamic-characteristic-model identifying section for identifying the movement characteristic of the robot arm when the servo control mode is changed into the servo adjustment mode by the deviation supervising section and the switching section. A servo constant calculating section is used for calculating a new servo constant for reducing the deviation obtained by the deviation supervising section based on the identification result from the dynamic-characteristic-identifying section.

摘要: A power management system includes: customer terminals; and a power management apparatus connected to the customer terminals, wherein each of the customer terminals includes a weather forecast acquisition unit that acquires a local weather forecast for a corresponding customer terminal, and a power prediction unit that predicts a power consumption and an amount of power that can be reduced for a predetermined period based on the weather forecast, and the power management apparatus includes an integration processing unit that integrates the power consumptions and the amounts of power that can be reduced that are predicted for the respective customer terminals to calculate a total power consumption and a total amount of power that can be reduced for all of the customer terminals.

摘要: A power consumption management system includes power consumption managers and a power supply manager. Each of the power consumption managers creates changeable power amount information with respect to a planned value of power consumption for each predetermined time range in a preset predetermined period in future, the planned value being related to a load of each piece of equipment in a building as a monitoring target. The power supply manager is connected to each of the power consumption managers through a network, decides a power change request amount for each building based on the created changeable power amount information, and transmits the decided power change request amount to each of the power consumption managers for the purpose of notification.
