Abstract:
In a rotor of an electric machine, which rotor consists of individual segments which each have a first part which is in contact with a second cooperating part wherein the first part of an individual segment and the second cooperating part of an adjacent individual segment are positively interlocked in the radial and circumferential directions resulting in a self-supporting annular structure of the assembled rotor. The individual sections have openings accommodating permanent magnets which are fixed in the openings by wall sections bent into the openings during assembly of the segments for fixing the permanent magnets in the openings as the individual segments are joined to form a ring.
Abstract:
A cladding of a printing machine in a region of a side wall of a printing unit of the printing machine includes a housing fastened to the side wall, the housing having an upper housing wall, two lateral housing walls and a housing cover connected to the lateral housing walls so as to be displaceable between a lower position covering the side wall and a position raised to a defined height.
Abstract:
A printing machine provided with a rectilinear guide and a cleaning device having a handle for moving the cleaning device along the rectilinear guide includes at least one joint by which the handle is attached to the cleaning device in a manner that the handle is movable relative to the cleaning device.
Abstract:
A roller lock for releasably fastening a roller in a printing machine includes a pressure piece for retaining the roller, the pressure piece serving for exerting a retention force on a shaft journal of the roller, and the roller having two stops between which a central axis of the roller extends, both a force action line of the retention force of the pressure piece exerted on the axle journal of the roller, and a force action line of a contact force exerted on a bale of the roller being directable through the central axis; and a printing machine having the roller lock.
Abstract:
A sheet-guiding device has a sheet-guiding element for a sheet-fed printing machine having an impression cylinder and a further cylinder adjacent thereto, the sheet-guiding element being disposed for guiding a sheet transported by the impression cylinder when the further cylinder is set-off from the impression cylinder. The further cylinder includes a cylinder selected from the group thereof consisting of an applicator cylinder for applying ink or varnish, respectively, to a sheet lying on the impression cylinder, and a tool cylinder for applying a finishing step to a sheet lying on the impression cylinder. The sheet-guiding element is disposed separately from the further cylinder and covers an impression zone of the impression cylinder.
Abstract:
A device for clamping the trailing edge of a printing plate in a plate cylinder of a rotary printing machine includes a torsion bar disposed in a cylinder gap formed in the plate cylinder and extending in axial direction thereof, clamping elements affixed to the torsion bar and cooperating with holding elements for clamping the printing plate, and actuators provided on both sides of the plate cylinder for stretching the printing plate in axial direction. The torsion bar is of bipartite construction, and the actuators, respectively, are mounted so as to be displaceable axially independently of one another.

Abstract:
A process for preparing isocyanates in the gas phase, in which the mixing of the reactants and thus the reaction conditions are significantly improved by means of hydrodynamic measures such as increasing the turbulence of the feed stream in the central nozzle. As a consequence, the necessary residence time in the reactor and thus the length of the reactor are reduced and the formation of polymeric by-products which lead to caking in the reactor and a shortening of the operating period of the reactors is avoided.
Abstract:
A sound damper for compressed air systems of vehicles includes a housing, an insulator and at least one web. The housing has an air inlet and an air outlet. The insulator is located in the housing, and the web is located in the housing such that it protrudes at least partially into the insulator. Air that flows through the housing from the air inlet to the air outlet is conducted by the web into the insulator.
Abstract:
A coil for a particularly compact coil for an electrical machine, in which coil an electrical conductor is wound with a number of turns, which are arranged one above the other in a number of layers, with the turns in a first layer being arranged parallel alongside one another, and the turns in a second layer being inclined through a predetermined inclination angle (a), with respect to the turns in the first layer, at a predetermined point and being arranged parallel alongside one another.
