A spectator venue having a performance area and spectator area is disclosed. The spectator area is generally divided into to portions, a stationary seating area and a dynamic seating area, both of which overlook the performance area. In the performance area, a spectator event occurs, such as a sports game or music concert. In the dynamic seating area, a plurality of seats are provided on a series of dynamic seating platforms. The dynamic seating platforms move along a track to various viewing locations during the course of the spectator event to provide multiple vantage points of the performance area from each seat. The distance and timing of movement of the dynamic seating platforms is based on various criteria, including occurrences during the spectator event.

A device for converting a straight pipe having an annular cross-section defined between an inner diameter and an outer diameter into a bent pipe having a non-annular cross-section, and method for making the same are disclosed. The device includes a round, bar-shaped guide member having a first end portion and a second end portion which is spaced therefrom in the axial direction and for being mounted slidably with the straight pipe. A floating member is formed into a prismoid and connected to the second end of the round, bar-shaped guide member in a ball-and-socket joint. The prismoid includes a first end in the form of a small polygon whose maximum radial length is less than the inner diameter of the straight pipe, and a second end in the form of a large polygon similar to the small polygon in shape and spaced from the first end in the axial direction. The prismoid has trapezoid sides disposed between the first end and the second end in such a manner that a corner angle between two adjacent trapezoid sides decreases gradually away from the first end. A feeding device slides the straight pipe on the round, bar-shaped guide member toward the floating member so that the straight pipe is brought into engagement with the floating member, thereby establishing the non-annular cross-section of the straight pipe. Lastly, a bending device bends the resulting pipe by applying a force thereto.

A highly wear-resistant aluminum-based composite alloy has improved wear resistant itself and the wear amount of the opposed Fe-based material is decreased as compared with the conventional wear-resistant aluminum alloys. The inventive composite alloy has a structure that at least either a dispersing phase selected from the group consisting of hard fine particles or a solid-lubricant particles having average diameter of 10 um or less is dispersed in an aluminum-alloy matrix which contains quasi-crystals.

A roll forming apparatus comprises a plurality of driving roll stands and a plurality of drivingless roll stands, wherein the drivingless roll forming stand comprises an upper and a lower roll units and side roll units arranged around a central through-hole of a plate member supported by a supporting post. Each of the roll forming stands is adapted for automatically positioning each of the rolls associated therewith to preset positions for bending operation. The plate member is rotatable about the axis of the central hole, and a transverse slide table fixedly mounting the supporting post is transversely movable to the axis. Molding laces for cars are roll formed by bending a strip during travelling through a series of these adjusted roll stands.
