The pipe bending system includes a pipe having a first end and a second end; a housing including a bending configuration and configured to house the pipe; a flexible material placed within an interior space of the pipe; and a pressing device configured to press the flexible material housed inside the interior space of the pipe. The pressing device includes a first arm, a second arm, and a controller. The flexible material includes a plurality of pieces each having a different elasticity type.

    摘要: A lever bender includes a first handle pivotally attached to a second handle. The first handle includes a forming mandrel around which a pipe is bent and a stop member for receiving and substantially holding the pipe in place prior to bending. The second handle includes a forming head that engages and bends the pipe around the forming mandrel. The stop member includes a pipe-engaging member that receives a pipe and a locking member adjacent to the pipe-engaging member. The locking member includes a retaining member moveable between a projecting position where the retaining member secures the pipe between the pipe-engaging member and the locking member and a retracted position permitting a pipe to either be received within the pipe-engaging member or removed from the pipe-engaging member.

    摘要: Method of and apparatus for producing tube bends for high pressure and high temperature use. A seamless tube is hot bent whereby to provide a semi-finished product, such semi-finished product is then filled with sand and tamped it in place. The method then proceeds with closing the ends of the thus sandfilled semi-finished product with lids, again heating the thus prepared semi-finished product to bending temperature, and the thrusting the heated semi-finished product downwardly through a female die by an aligned male die, whereby to produce a tube bend of oval form the longer axis of which is parallel to the bending axis of the semi-finished product and has a length which is 3 to 4 percent longer than its shorter axis. Thereafter the covers and sand are removed from the product, and after again heating the thus formed product calibrating it so as to change the oval cross-section thereof into a section which is circular in crosssection.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for manufacturing T-pieces from an unbranched starting piece of pipe by means of internal high-pressure forming (IHF). For this purpose, the starting piece of pipe is placed in a two-part forming tool which gives the shape, can be opened and closed, surrounds the starting piece of pipe, and has a cutout corresponding to the desired shape of the T-shaped pipe branch. Placed in a sealing manner against the two open end faces of the inserted starting piece of pipe in each case is a plunger which is movable in the forming tool and can be pushed axially into the forming took in each case by a pressure cylinder. The interior of the starting piece of pipe is filled with pressure fluid by means of an opening in at least one of the plungers, prior to being placed on the plungers in a sealing manner. A fluid high-pressure is built up by pushing the plungers axially into the forming tool with high force and, thus initiated, by pushing pipe wall material axially towards the forming point, the pipe wall material is pressed into the cutout in the forming tool and the T-shaped branch is thus shaped. In order to be able to manufacture T-pieces with a curved branch, the end face of the T-shaped cutout for the pipe branch is supported with controllable force by means of a flexible mandrel.

    摘要: A process for making a tube bend of a predetermined wall thickness from a length of straight tube comprises forming the straight tube to have a quasi-elliptical cross section and irregular wall thickness which has a maximum value on one side of the major axis of the quasi ellipse, expanding the quasi-elliptical tube to cause the wall thickness on the other side of the major axis to be reduced and bending the tube about an axis located on said other side of said major axis. Apparatus suitable for performing the process comprises a die (2) formed with an oblique inclined converging passage (3) of circular cross section at one end changing progressively to quasi-elliptical cross section at the other end and a curved mandrel (6) having a portion (8) which changes from quasi-elliptical cross section at the shank (7) to circular cross section at the curved portion (9).
