The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device presenting a reduced color addition and an improved bright room contrast. The liquid crystal display panel of the present invention includes wirings made of a metal having at least 90% reflection over a wavelength region within the visible light region, where the reflectance of the liquid crystal panel over a wavelength range of 600 to 700 nm at the display surface is no greater than 150% of the reflectance at the wavelength of 550 nm at the display surface.

The present invention provides a display device capable of presenting a display with a large color reproduction range and displaying bright red. A display device according to the present invention forms an image by using red, green, blue, and yellow pixels, and includes a light source. Light emitted from the light source has a red peak wavelength of 615 nm or more and 650 nm or less. A half-width of the red peak is 15 nm or more and 70 nm or less when the peak wavelength is 615 nm or more and 635 nm or less, 40 nm or more and 93 nm or less when the peak wavelength is more than 635 nm and 640 nm or less, and 57 nm or more and 93 nm or less when the peak wavelength is more than 640 nm and 650 nm or less.

To provide: a color filter substrate with high display quality in which defective portions of a bank member (black matrix), such as a pin hole, a portion having an insufficient film thickness, a portion having an insufficient width, and a disconnection portion, or color mixing defects of a colored layer are corrected by the simple and inexpensive method; a liquid crystal display device including such a color filter; and production methods thereof. The color filter substrate of the present invention is a color filter substrate comprising a bank member and a colored layer on a substrate, wherein the color filter substrate has a structure in which a color mixing member formed of colored layer materials of two or more colors is formed in a defective portion of the bank member or along the bank member.

A double-sided display which can suitable carry out black display both in a well-lighted place and a dark place is provided. The following members are disposed in the B direction: a first polarizing plate (14) which allows only a linearly polarized light component to pass through; a liquid crystal layer (13) which, when a voltage is applied thereto, optically rotates and causes linearly polarized light in one direction to be linearly polarized light in the other direction, while, when no voltage is applied, does not alter the direction of the linearly polarized light; a polarizing selective reflector (16) which reflects the linearly polarized light in one direction while allows the linearly polarized light in the other direction to pass through; and a second polarizing plate (15) which absorbs the light in one direction while allows the light in the other direction to pass through. The polarizing selective reflector (16) is disposed only in the B direction of the liquid crystal layer (13). Double-sided image reproduction is realized by carrying out reflective image reproduction on the side in the A direction and carrying out transmission image reproduction on the side in the B direction.

The present invention provides a storage subsystem capable of realizing efficient data migration and high access performance. During migration of data between storage subsystems, data migration methods are selected between a “PUSH” type and a “PULL” type method based on a data migration policy set in advance to perform data migration processes. An access characteristics of a file and a folder storing the file are determined based on a file access frequency or a final access date and time information in a migration source storage subsystem, and the migration order of a file group determined to have a high possibility of being accessed during data migration is changed between the “PUSH” type and the “PULL” type.

The present invention provides a display device using a copper wiring and having high display properties in which without preventing a higher aperture ratio of the pixel, coloring of a screen due to reflected light of external light produced within the display device can be prevented. The display device according to the present invention is a display device including a plurality of pixel regions, wherein each of the pixel regions includes a copper wiring containing copper or an alloy thereof, and a red-colored layer and a colored layer of another color; and an area of the copper wiring is smaller in the pixel region including the red-colored layer than in the pixel region including the colored layer of another color, the area of the copper wiring reflecting incident light entering from the display surface side of the display device.

A color filter includes a black matrix and a color section. The black matrix has a plurality of partition sections extended alongside each other with a gap region therebetween. The color section is in a gap region of the black matrix. The color section is formed by applying a film material into the gap region of the black matrix by the ink-jet method, and then curing the film material thus applied. The black matrix has a protrusion section by which the gap region is partially narrowed. In applying the film material, the protrusion section functions as a barrier against the film material flowing, in the gap region. This prevents color mixing and uneven color density while maintaining high productivity.
