    摘要: An auto-zero amplifier includes a main amplifier for amplifying an input signal; the main amplifier receives an offset-correction signal for cancelling an offset at a first common-mode level of the input signal. At the first common-mode level, the offset-correction signal is based on a first value stored using a first offset-storage element. When a change is detected in the input common-mode from the first level to a second level, the first offset-storage element is switched out and a second offset-storage element, having a second value based on the second common-mode level, is switched in.

    摘要: A voltage boost circuit is driven with a clock signal CLK which toggles between voltages V1 and V2. A first MOSFET is coupled between CLK and an output node OUT, and at least one additional MOSFET is coupled between OUT and a supply voltage. The first terminal of a capacitance is coupled at its first terminal to OUT, and at its second terminal to a delay circuit arranged to toggle its output to ˜V2 or ˜V1 a predetermined amount of time after the voltage applied to the clock signal side of the first MOSFET toggles to ˜V2 or ˜V1, respectively. The capacitance is charged to ˜V2 when the voltage applied to the clock signal side of the first MOSFET toggles to ˜V2, and OUT is increased to a voltage greater than V2 when the output of the delay circuit toggles to ˜V2. The only active device junctions subjected to the boosted voltage are MOSFET well-substrate junctions, such that no active devices are overstressed.

A circuit uses one or more floating powers and one or more floating grounds coupled to an input stage of an amplifier to increase the common mode range of a difference amplifier. The floating power can be configured to select from the greater of the voltage level of one of the differential signals and the system power high source. The floating ground can be configured to select from the lesser of the voltage level of one of the differential signals and the system power low source.

    摘要: Described are methods and systems for powering an Otto-cycle engine using gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG). The Otto-cycle engine can be powered by determining a quantity of the gasoline and a quantity of the CNG to deliver to a cylinder of the engine during an engine cycle such that combustion within the cylinder occurs at a pre-determined air-fuel ratio; delivering the quantity of the gasoline to the cylinder via a gasoline injector and delivering the quantity of the CNG to the cylinder via a CNG injector such that the gasoline and the CNG combust during the same combustion event; and combusting the gasoline and the CNG within the cylinder. Delivering CNG and gasoline to the cylinder using separate injectors allows the quantities of CNG and gasoline to vary in response to engine operating conditions, which allows the fuel mixture to be adjusted to satisfy engine power and emissions criteria.
