    Abstract: The rotating pile for undergrounding contains a pile-head pipe having a longitudinal center line, a pipe wall, one end portion, and the other end portion opposite to the one end portion. Three or four recessed portions in which the pipe wall is recessed toward the center line are formed in the one end portion. Blades defined by the pipe wall are formed between the adjacent recessed portions. Each of the recessed portions is inclined from the circumferential surface of the pile-head pipe toward the center line. The pipe wall defining one of the adjacent recessed portions contact with the pipe wall defining the other recessed portion so as to cause the one end to be substantially closed. The blades extend radially outward from the center line. The blades gradually expand in the circumferential direction of the pile-head pipe from its top end toward its base end portion.

    Abstract: A device for fitting an elastic ring such as a piston seal, O-ring or the like into an inner circumferential groove of an article such as a hydraulic cylinder or the like. The device comprises a support supporting the article, a tubular retaining member having an inner circumferential groove, means supplying the elastic ring transversely into the groove of the retaining member through a cut-out portion formed in the retaining member, a chucking member adapted to be inserted into the retaining member and into the article for receiving the elastic ring from the retaining member and delivering the elastic ring into the article, means for deforming elastically at least a portion of the elastic ring radially inwardly in delivering the elastic ring from the retaining member to the chucking member, and a clamping mechanism provided on the chucking member for clamping the elastically deformed ring in translating the chucking member from the retaining member to the article.

    Abstract: In the polishing system of the present invention, a adhering unit adheres a wafer on a carrying plate using liquid. A polishing unit polishes the wafer using a polishing plate. A feeding unit conveys the carrying plate from the adhering unit to the polishing unit. A dismounting unit removes the wafer from the carrying plate. A first discharging unit conveys the carrying plate from the polishing unit to the dismounting unit. A cleaning unit cleans the vacant carrying plate. A second discharging unit conveys the carrying plate from the dismounting unit to the cleaning unit. A third discharging unit conveys the carrying plate from the cleaning unit to the adhering unit. The units are formed into a loop lines so that the carrying plate is circulated in the loop line and the wafers are polished therein.

    Abstract: A composite sleeve for use in a hot-rolling roll for H-section steel and channel steel comprises a working layer adapted to contact the material to be rolled and composed of two layers, i.e., a first outer layer made of one of adamite with graphite, spheroidal graphite cast iron and adamite having high resistance to sticking, and a second outer layer made of adamite or high chromium iron having high resistance to wear; and an inner layer adapted to be out of contact with the material and made of spheroidal graphite cast steel or spheroidal graphite cast iron having high toughness. The first outer layer covers the second outer layer, and the second outer layer covers the inner layer, the three layers of the first outer layer, the second outer layer and the inner layer being joined together by melting.
