The image non-display area includes a sealing portion in which glass substrates are sealed at a periphery thereof by a seal layer. The seal layer is made of a glass material having a softening point temperature 30° C. through 70° C. lower than the sealing temperature at which the periphery of front glass substrate and rear glass substrate are sealed by the seal layer.
