摘要: A plasma display panel has an image display region(17)and a non-image display region formed by facing front glass substrate (3) to back glass substrate (10), and has a sealed part (18) formed by sealing peripheries of the glass substrates in the non-image display region with a seal layer(19). A thickness of at least one of the front glass substrate (3) and the back glass substrate (10) is 2.0 mm or less, and an interval between the glass substrates in the sealed part longer than an interval between the glass substrates in the image display region.

摘要: A plasma display panel includes front glass substrate and rear glass substrate disposed opposite to each other so as to form an image display area and an image non-display area. The image non-display area includes a sealing portion in which glass substrates are sealed at a periphery thereof by a seal layer. At least one of front glass substrate and rear glass substrate has a thickness of 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. The seal layer is made of a glass material having a softening point temperature 30° C. through 70° C. lower than the sealing temperature at which the periphery of front glass substrate and rear glass substrate are sealed by the seal layer.

摘要: A plasma display panel having an image display region (17) and a non-image display region formed by disposing a front glass substrate (3) and a back glass substrate (10) oppositely, and a sealed portion (18) where the circumferential edges of the glass substrates in the non-image display region are sealed by a seal layer (19). 摘要: A method for manufacturing a PDP equipped with an exhaust tube (21) for evacuating a discharge space formed by arranging a front plate (22) and a back plate (23) oppositely and sealing the circumferential edge portions of the front plate and the back plate by sealant (31) and then filling the discharge space with discharge gas, the method comprising steps for arranging the sealing side of the exhaust tube around a thin exhaust hole (30) provided in the back plate through a tablet (32) formed of frit glass not containing sealing lead but containing bismuth oxide, assembling the front plate and the back plate while arranging them oppositely, mounting the exhaust pipe on an exhauster while directing the side connected with the exhauster downward, and performing the sealing at a predetermined sealing temperature.

摘要: A plasma display panel (PDP) is made of front panel (2) and rear panel (10). The front panel includes display electrodes (6), dielectric layer (8), and protective layer (8) that are formed on glass substrate (3). The rear panel includes address electrodes (12), barrier ribs (14), and phosphor layers (15) that are formed on rear glass substrate (11). The front panel and the rear panel are faced with each other, and the peripheries thereof are sealed to form discharge space (16) therebetween. Primary dielectric layer (13) is provided to cover address electrodes (12), and barrier ribs (14) are formed on primary dielectric layer (13). Primary dielectric layer (13) is made of dielectric glass containing at least bismuth oxide and having a softening point exceeding 550° C.

摘要: There is provided a plasma display panel in which a front plate and a rear plate are disposed opposite to each other, a side of a tubular exhaust pipe is disposed in the vicinity of a fine hole provided in the rear plate using a tablet serving as sealant formed of frit glass, peripheries of the front plate and the rear plate and the exhaust pipe are sealed with the sealant in order to form a discharge space, and the discharge space is ventilated and discharge gas is filled into the discharge space through the exhaust pipe. The rear plate and the exhaust pipe are sealed by a sealed part obtained by melting a tablet made of amorphous frit glass not containing lead, and a stress working on the sealed part is a tension in the direction of the rear plate and the direction of the exhaust pipe.
