摘要: An apparatus for cooling hot gas comprises: (i) a vertical elongated vessel provided with a cooling medium compartment comprising in use a first cooling medium, an inlet to supply fresh first cooling medium and a outlet for discharge of used first cooling medium, the vessel further provided with an inlet for hot gas and an outlet for cooled gas, at least one heat exchange tube, which heat exchange tube is positioned in the cooling medium compartment (and fluidly connects the inlet for hot gas and the outlet for cooled gas, (ii) said cooling medium compartment further comprising a vertical and centrally positioned open ended downcomer wherein said heat exchange tube is positioned in a space between the downcomer and the vessel wall, (iii) and wherein the heat exchanger tube is mounted at its upstream end in a tube plate and wherein the tube plate is provided with means to supply a second cooling medium to the exterior of the upstream end of the heat exchanger tube, means to discharge the used second cooling medium, means to reduce the temperature of the used second cooling medium and means to recycle the second cooling medium to the exterior of the upstream end of the heat exchanger tube.

摘要: A gasification reactor comprising a pressure vessel encasing a gasifier. Strain gauges are provided in the space between the gasifier and the pressure vessel on one or more parts loaded by weight of slag within the gasifier, e.g., at the exterior surface of the gasifier wall and/or coolant supply lines. Formation of slag deposits and/or pressure within the gasifier is monitored by measuring strain development in parts exposed to stress induced by weight of the slag deposits or induced by internal pressure, respectively.

摘要: Process to cool hot gas by passing the hot gas through a tube having a main tubular part and an upstream tubular part, wherein (i) the exterior of main tubular part is cooled by an evaporating liquid cooling medium flowing freely around said tube, (ii) the upstream tubular part is cooled by passing fresh liquid cooling medium and a defined part of the liquid cooling medium of activity (i) along the exterior of the upstream end of the tube and (iii) wherein the mixture of fresh cooling medium and the defined part of the liquid medium after being used to cool the upstream tubular part is used in activity (i) as cooling medium.

摘要: A gasification reactor including a gasifier having a tubular gastight wall with a discharge channel or dip tube at its lower end leading into a lower slag collection bath. The gastight wall and the slag collection bath are arranged within a pressure vessel. An annular space between the pressure vessel and the gasifier with the discharge channel is separated in a high pressure top section and a low pressure lower section by a sealing arrangement having a damper. The damper can for instance be a hydraulic lock, or a lower seal at a distance below an upper seal.
