The system also includes a syngas treatment system that may supply the gasifier with a first portion of a quench liquid via a first inlet and a second portion of the quench liquid via a second inlet; a lock hopper that may receive gasification by-products generated in the reactor and supply a third portion of the quench liquid to the gasifier via a third inlet, and a deaerator coupled to the syngas treatment system and the lock hopper. The deaerator may depressurize the lock hopper.

The water leaving the deflecting surface is conducted downward into the interior of the reactor.

    摘要: A system includes a gasifier that may gasify a feedstock to produce a syngas and a syngas cooler that includes a cooling chamber having a tapered configuration. The cooling chamber includes a first section that may separate particulates from the syngas and includes a first opening and a second opening. The first opening has a smaller width than the second opening. The system also includes a second section in fluid communication with the first section that includes a plurality of tubes surrounding the first section. A first portion of the plurality of tubes is arranged parallel to a longitudinal axis of the cooling chamber and a second portion of the plurality of tubes is angled such that the second portion of the plurality of tubes forms the tapered configuration. The system further includes a passage to flow a seal gas between a shell of the radiant syngas cooler and the second section. The shell encloses the cooling chamber.

    摘要: A gasification reactor for producing crude gas, containing CO or H2, by gasification of ash-containing fuel with oxygen-containing gas, at temperatures above the melting temperature of the ash, has a reaction chamber formed by a membrane wall through which coolant flows, within a pressure container, is provided, with a narrowing transition channel into a gas cooling chamber, and spin-reducing, cooled bulkheads in the transition channel. The, wall that carries the bulkheads makes a transition, below the bulkheads, into a cylinder wall that is reduced in diameter, by way of a step having a corrugated surface. The cylinder wall, which is reduced in diameter, is enclosed by a further cylindrical wall, which is enlarged in diameter, which wall forms a second slag drip edge at its end, in the direction of gravity. The further cylindrical wall is disposed to be adjustable in its vertical position, with reference to the first drip edge.

This is achieved in that, in addition to a device (14, 15) forming a water film (16) in the quench chamber (11), at least a part of the cylinder forming the quench chamber wall (17) is designed with a double wall and with a coolant overflow (21) for additionally wetting (18) the inner surface of the quench chamber wall (17), and a tangential coolant supply (20) in the bottom area of the double walled cylinder (19) which is closed at the bottom.

    摘要: A gasification apparatus for solid fuel, especially an apparatus for producing syngas by pressurized gasification of coal powder, including a gasification chamber (II) and a syngas cooling and purification chamber (III). The inner wall of the gasification chamber is a water-cooling wall (4). The inner side of the water-cooled wall is evenly coated with a layer of fire-resistant material (16). There is an annular cavity between the water-cooling wall of the gasification chamber and the furnace body. A syngas quencher, a vertical pipe (22), a gas distribution device (24), a defoaming device, and a dewatering and deashing device (21) are provided in the syngas cooling and purification chamber. The apparatus has a simple structure and is easy to operate. A high temperature gasification method for dry powder of carbonaceous material comprises spraying the combustible material and oxygen into the furnace and followed by ignition.
