    Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting non-fluorescent advanced glycation end products, and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a composition for inhibiting non-fluorescent advanced glycation end products, comprising one or more strains selected from the group consisting of Lactobacillus sp. strains, Lactococcus sp. strains, Enterococcus sp. strains, Bifidobacterium sp. strains, Bacillus sp. strains, Saccharomyces sp. strains, Pediococcus sp. strains, and Leuconostoc sp. strains; and a food composition, a pharmaceutical composition, a composition for intestinal regulation, a probiotic composition, a feed composition, and a fermented product, which have an activity of reducing non-fluorescent advanced glycation end products and comprise the composition. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for producing a non-fluorescent advanced glycation end product inhibitor and a method for inhibiting non-fluorescent advanced glycation end products.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to: a novel Lactobacillus intestinalis YT2 strain (deposition number: KCCM11812P); and a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating menopause, comprising, as an active ingredient, Lactobacillus intestinalis comprising the novel strain. The present inventors have established an animal model for menopause through ovariectomy, confirmed changes of the distribution of intestinal microorganisms by the model, identified and isolated a novel Lactobacillus intestinalis strain among lactic acid bacteria of which the distribution is significantly reduced in the menopausal model, and confirmed effects, by means of the novel strain and previously reported Lactobacillus intestinalis strains, of alleviating menopausal symptoms, such as the inhibition of an increase in body fat, the inhibition of a decrease in bone mineral density, the inhibition of an increase in the pain sensitivity, and the alleviation of depression. Therefore, it is expected that the composition comprising the Lactobacillus intestinalis according to the present invention can be usable for a use of preventing, alleviating, or treating menopause.

    Abstract: A composition for enhancing sweetness includes glycan or glycopeptide derived from soy sauce. The composition has excellent sweetness enhancing properties, and particularly has a sweetening effect nearly the same as or better than those of conventional sweeteners and less calories in terms of nutritional characteristics. A sweetener composition includes the composition for enhancing sweetness and a sweetener. A food includes the composition for enhancing sweetness. A method for enhancing sweetness of a food, includes applying the sweetness enhancer composition to the food. The sweetness enhancer of the present invention is a natural product-derived substance, and contains, as an active ingredient, peptide separated from Korean traditional soy sauce aged over a long period of time, and therefore, may solve problems of conventional chemosynthesized sweetness enhancers, for example, side effects, foul taste or the like.
