    摘要: A print production system includes a dispatcher and a task-resource scheduler. The dispatcher sorts print requests for placement among a series of containers to identify relative priorities among all print requests in each container and then merges the containers together to produce a prioritized list of print requests among all containers. Upon release by the dispatcher of a top N print requests from the prioritized list, the scheduler converts the prioritized list into a task-resource schedule for print production.

    摘要: A vertical-current-flow device includes a trench which includes an insulated gate and which extends down into first-conductivity-type semiconductor material. A phosphosilicate glass layer is positioned above the insulated gate and a polysilicon layer is positioned above the polysilicate glass layer. Source and body diffusions of opposite conductivity types are positioned adjacent to a sidewall of the trench. A drift region is positioned to receive majority carriers which have been injected by the source, and which have passed through the body diffusion. A drain region is positioned to receive majority carriers which have passed through the drift region. The gate is capacitively coupled to control inversion of a portion of the body region. As an alternative, a dielectric layer may be used in place of the doped glass where permanent charge is positioned in the dielectric layer.

    摘要: A defect management method for a storage medium is provided. An initial check is performed on the storage medium, and then diving the storage medium into blocks, which at least include a using data area with endurance blocks. Each endurance block is given an initial endurance value. Then, an endurance table is established in the storage medium for recording endurance blocks and the initial endurance values. According to the endurance table, data is written to the storage medium based on its importance. When the writing cycles reach a predetermined times, the endurance values are recalculated and the table is updated accordingly. Data is then moved according to the new endurance values.
