    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier unit that includes an image carrier and is configured to be capable of being housed in and removed from an image-forming-apparatus main body; an exposure device that is arranged close to the image carrier to form an electrostatic latent image; a retracting mechanism that holds the exposure device close to the image carrier when the image carrier unit is housed in the image-forming-apparatus main body, and holds the exposure device away from the image carrier when the image carrier unit is being removed from the image-forming-apparatus main body; a covering member that covers the retracting mechanism in a state where backlash of the exposure device at least in a main-scanning direction is allowed; and a guide mechanism that positions the exposure device in the main-scanning direction when the exposure device comes closer to the image carrier through the retracting mechanism.

More particularly, an apparatus and a method sets a menu to control a mobile terminal in a specific region of an image stored in advance. A relevant function is performed by selecting the specific region of the image in which the menu has been set in the mobile terminal, thereby performing the relevant function fast and conveniently without separately selecting a menu (entering a menu). The apparatus includes a controller. The controller selects a specific region from an output image, sets a menu for controlling a function of the mobile terminal at the specific region, and stores the image where the menu has been set.

    摘要: Provided is an apparatus of determining the number of synthetic beams, comprising: a motion measurement unit which measures the degree of motion in an output beam-forming image; a synthetic beam number determination unit which determines the optimum number of synthetic beams based on the measured degree of motion in case of applying the synthetic aperture beam forming; and a display unit which displays the number of synthetic beams determined by the synthetic beam number determination unit. A system using synthetic aperture beam forming detects motion in an image and displays a degree of the motion in various manners, and thus, a user is allowed to actively cope with the motion by adjusting the number of synthetic beams, or the system is allowed to immediately change the number of synthetic beams with reference to data stored in advance.
