摘要: A lithium transition metal phosphate material comprising lithium iron phosphate doped with very precise amounts of aluminium dopant, the material having formula LiyFe1-xAlxPO4, in which 0.8≤y≤1.2 and 0.0120≤x≤0.0180. When x is within this range, the capacity of the material can be improved, and good or excellent distribution of aluminium in the lithium metal phosphate is observed.

The precursor may be converted to a sorbent suitable for removing heavy metals from liquids or gases by applying one or more sulphur compounds to sulphide the copper compound and form CuS.

摘要: A method of synthesizing high-silica zeolites in a fluoride media using faujasite crystals as the aluminum source and quasi-siliceous seed crystals containing a small amount of germanium is described. The faujasite crystals dissolved during hydrothermal treatment, prior to the crystallization of LTA-type zeolites. High-silica zeolites of an LTA, a CHA, a *BEA and an STT-type were produced. High-silica zeolites with a Si/Al ratio (SAR) of 63 to 420 were synthesized, with the SAR related to the amount of faujasite crystals used. The aluminosilicate LTA-type zeolite products possess nearly defect-free structures, a characteristic often seen in fluoride mediated synthesis. The unit cell volumes of the high-silica LTA-type zeolites correspond to the amount of Al present in the framework. Aluminosilicate ITW-type zeolites were produced using these methods.

摘要: A process for increasing the hydrogen content of a synthesis gas including hydrogen and carbon oxides and having a carbon monoxide content ≧45 mole % on a dry-gas basis, including the steps of: (i) combining the synthesis gas with steam to form a steam-enriched feed gas mixture (ii) passing the feed gas mixture at an inlet temperature in the range 220-370° C. over an iron-based water-gas shift catalyst to form a hydrogen-enriched shifted gas mixture having a carbon monoxide content 10 mole % on a dry gas basis, and (iii) recovering the hydrogen-enriched shifted gas mixture, where a portion of the hydrogen-enriched shifted gas mixture is recycled to the feed gas mixture.
