Abstract:
Robots capable of accommodating dynamic replacement of end effectors load and run software that allows the end effector to be operated without change to the main control program. The driver may be dynamically linked and run during program execution when the corresponding end effector is detected. Typically, the robot controller will store a library of drivers, and load the appropriate driver when a new end effector is detected.
Abstract:
A method, system, and computer program product for a diagnostic heartbeat throttling are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A component, executing using a processor and a memory in a data processing system, sends diagnostic heartbeat packets over a communication link at a first rate, wherein a diagnostic heartbeat packet is a packet comprises a header, a set of heartbeat parameters, and a set of diagnostic attributes. The component detects a change in data traffic over the communication link. The component changes a rate of sending diagnostic heartbeat packets from the first rate to a second rate responsive to the change in the data traffic over the communication link.
Abstract:
A method of initiating fluid circulation in a well bore with a casing inner diameter and an annulus is provided. The method includes increasing the casing inner diameter fluid pressure at the top of the well bore; flowing a cement composition into the casing inner diameter at the top of the well bore; maintaining a difference in pressure between the fluid pressure of the casing inner diameter and the fluid pressure of the annulus until enough of the cement composition has entered the casing inner diameter to drive fluid circulation by the added cement composition weight; reducing the casing inner diameter fluid pressure at the top of the well bore while flowing a further portion of cement composition into the casing inner diameter; and pumping at a relatively higher fluid pressure the cement composition from the casing inner diameter into the annulus through a lower end of the casing.
Abstract:
Methods of servicing a wellbore in contact with a subterranean formation include passing an ester-based fluid into the wellbore and reducing a temperature of the ester-based fluid by an amount effective to cause the ester-based fluid to set, e.g., by from about 10° F. to about 20° F. The ester-based fluid includes a water in ester-based oil emulsion, a pH controlling additive, e.g., hydrated lime, in the water-phase, and an emulsifier to stabilize the pH controlling additive. Cooling the ester-based fluid causes the emulsion to destabilize, resulting in the release of the pH controlling additive. This release lowers the pH of the ester-based fluid by an effective amount to cause it to set. Wellbore servicing fluids comprising the foregoing ester-based fluid may be employed as environmentally friendly sealants or spotting fluids in wellbores.
Abstract:
A method for cementing a casing in an open well bore having no surface casing, wherein an annulus is defined between the casing and the well bore, the method having: sealing the annulus at the mouth of the well bore with a seal; pumping a cement composition into the annulus through the seal; and taking circulation fluid returns from the inner diameter of the casing. A system for cementing a casing in an open well bore having no surface casing, wherein an annulus is defined between the casing and the well bore, the system having: a seal of the annulus at the mouth of the well bore; a cement composition pump fluidly connected to the annulus through the seal; and a coupling connected to the exposed end of the casing for taking circulation fluid returns from the inner diameter of the casing. A seal of a well bore annulus at the mouth of an open well bore having a casing extending there from and no surface casing, the seal having: an annular plug around the casing in the annulus below and proximate the mouth of the well bore, wherein the annular plug has conduit through the annular plug allowing fluid communication with the annulus below the annular plug; an anchor attachable to the casing above the annular plug; and at least one jack positioned between the annular plug and the anchor, wherein the at least one jack pushes the annular plug downwardly away from the anchor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to FMS-like tyrosine kinase (FLT3), FLT3 binding pockets or FLT3-like binding pockets. The invention relates to a computer comprising a data storage medium encoded with the structure coordinates of such binding pockets. The invention also relates to methods of using the structure coordinates to solve the structure of homologous proteins or protein complexes. The invention relates to methods of using the structure coordinates to screen for and design compounds that bind to FMS-like tyrosine kinase protein, complexes of FMS-like tyrosine kinase protein, homologues thereof, or FLT-3-like protein or protein complexes. The invention also relates to crystallizable compositions and crystals comprising an FMS-like tyrosine kinase cytoplasmic domain or homologues thereof. The invention also relates to methods of identifying inhibitors of the cytoplasmic domain of FMS-like tyrosine kinase protein.

Abstract:
A method, system, and computer program product for memory affinitization in a multithreaded environment are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A first affinity domain formed in a computer receives from a second thread executing in a second affinity domain a request to access a unit of memory in the first affinity domain. The computer determines whether to migrate the unit of memory to the second affinity domain. The computer migrates, responsive the determining being affirmative, the unit of memory to the second affinity domain, thereby affinitizing the unit of memory with the second thread.
