In a case where a display screen of a transmission originator, including image data such as photographs, is displayed remotely on a device of a transmission destination, compressed image data of the image portion such as photographs on the display screen which is stored in a storage unit of the transmission originator is transmitted to the transmission destination device so that the image of the photograph portion can be displayed remotely on the screen of the transmission destination device with high image quality.

An information processing apparatus comprises a readout unit adapted to read out, from a storage unit, correspondence information that includes a document structure of a structured document and a first code for encoding the document structure; a verification unit adapted to verify whether grammar of a portion included in a structured document for processing is valid, based on the document structure included in the correspondence information; and an encoding unit adapted to encode the structured document using the first code, in relation to a portion whose grammar is verified as being valid by the verification unit.

A graft copolymer composition capable of producing a molded product retaining a satisfactory appearance over a long period of time and having abrasion resistance, scratching resistance and bending resistance. The graft copolymer composition contains a graft copolymer as the main component and a lubricant including a fatty acid amide or an alkylene oxide derivative. The graft copolymer includes an olefin polymer segment (a) and a vinyl polymer segment (b). Particles of one segment are dispersed in the other one segment. The diameter of the particles is 0.001 to 10 μm. The vinyl polymer segment (b) is formed from a polar vinyl monomer.

A wristwatch case (11) and a method of manufacturing the case, the wristwatch case comprising a wristwatch case body (1) made of titanium or stainless steel and a crown pipe (3) fixed to each other, wherein a stem hole (2) corresponding to the crown pipe (3) is formed in the wristwatch case body (1), a small diameter part is formed in the crown pipe (3), and a small diameter part corresponding to the a small diameter part of the crown pipe is formed in the stem hole (2), the method comprising the step of fitting the crown pipe (3) into the stem hole (2) in the wristwatch case body (1) to form a solid phase diffusion joining part at a portion where the small diameter parts thereof are fitted closely to each other, and to form a brazed connection part at a portion other than that where the small diameter parts are fitted closely to each other, whereby a watch external part having excellent corrosion resistance and waterproof and a large number of design variations can be provided.

A paper supplying apparatus has a rotatable member around a horizontal axis, a pair of clamp plates supported by this rotatable member mutually parallel and in face-to-face relationship for clamping a book block in between, and guide plates each attached to an associated one of these clamp plates, extending downward from the clamp plates to a lower edge part of the book block when the book block is held vertically. Such a paper supplying apparatus can be removably connected to a book binding machine by attaching a guide rail to an outer wall of the book binding machine and a runner to the paper supplying apparatus. The runner is slidably engageable with the guide rail, allowing the paper supplying apparatus to move along the guide rail selectably towards or away from the book binding machine.

The invention provides a water-soluble quenching medium suitably usable for quenching of metal, which can prevent quenching cracks and quenching ununiformity while having good hardenability. The medium comprises (A) a polyalkylene glycol having a weight average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 100,000 and/or its derivative, (B) a glycol ether having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 smaller, and optionally (C) an alkylene glycol having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 or smaller, (D) an alkali metal carboxylate, and (E) an organic amine compound having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 or smaller.

A three side trimmer is provided with a trimming table having a base, a first cutting stick fixed on the base opposed to a front edge trimming cutter in order to receive the knife edge of the front edge trimming cutter and, a table structure including a pair of elemental plates movable on the base along a direction parallel to the length of the first cutting stick. The first elemental plate of the table structure is provided with a second cutting stick arranged perpendicular to the first cutting stick in order to receive the knife edge of a top edge trimming cutter. The second elemental plate of the table structure is provided with a third cutting stick arranged perpendicular to the first cutting stick in order to receive the knife edge of a foot edge trimming cutter. The three side trimmer makes it possible to trim the three sides of the binding objects of different sizes without exchanging the trimming tables.

In a method for manufacturing a multi-layer flexible printed circuit board including a circuit section, a cable section that is connected to the circuit section, the circuit section having a multi-layer structure of insulating resin arranged between multiple layers of metal foil, a barrier, that stops the insulating resin from overflowing, has a two-row configuration and is formed on a metal foil that constitutes an outermost conductive layer in the multi-layer flexible printed circuit board, and the metal foil and the insulating resin are laminated to form the multi-layer flexible printed circuit board.
