Abstract: To prevent evaporated flux from being attached to rotation axes of motors which rotate fans positioned in a preheating zone, a main heating zone and a cooling zone and being solidified, the evaporated flux is efficiently and surely collected with the flux liquefying before the flux is solidified and having fluidity.A drain portion 20 constituting a flux collection apparatus 10A is formed at a side of a motor base 16 opposed to the fan and at a circumferential portion of the rotation axis 14. A surface of the drain portion 20 opposed to the fan is formed as an inclined surface 20A which is inclined from a level position of the motor base 16 to a discharge port 46 provided at a back side of the motor base 16. The flux collected to a center portion of the motor base 16 by the rotation drive of the fan is flown to the drain portion 20 formed in the center portion of the motor base 16, is flown along the inclined surface 20A and contained into a collection container 34 from the drain portion 20 through the discharge port 46, a drain pipe and a pipe 48.

Abstract: The video retrieving method provides a video retrieval man-machine interface which visually specifies a desired video out of many stored videos by using previously linked picture data corresponding to the videos. Also, a video reproduction operating man-machine interface visually designates the position of reproduction out of the picture group indicative of the contents. The video retrieving method employs video data, character information linked to the video data, picture data linked to the videos, and time information corresponding to the picture data in the video data. The character information is composed of a title of each video and a creation date thereof. The picture data include, as retrieval information, one picture data representing the content of the relevant video (one picture expressing the video, i.e., a leaflet or the like), and a plurality of picture data adapted to grasp the contents of the entire video. The time information indicates the temporal position of the picture data in the video data.

Abstract: A method and apparatus in which a succession of continuous films each composed of a support film, a photosensitive resin layer and a cover film laminated one above another are joined end to end and fed continuously while allowing the cover film to be separated. While the trailing end of a preceding continuous film is held by suction on a first suction device, the leading end of a succeeding continuous film drawn out from a succeeding film supply roll is bonded to a part of the adhesive surface of an adhesive single coated tape previously held by suction on a second suction device, and the remaining part of the adhesive surface of the adhesive single coated tape is forced against the trailing end of the preceding continuous film being held on the first suction device to thereby join the leading end and the trailing end via the adhesive single coated tape without forming an overlap.

Abstract: A pressurizing roller for use in a laminator to bond a film to a panel has a hollow outer shell and flanges on both ends. A roller shaft extending through the flanges and the outer shell transfers its angular moment of force via bearings directly to the flanges and via the flanges to the outer shell to provide uniform distribution of pressure by the roller outer shell to the film and panel. The outer shell is heated to a uniform temperature throughout.

Abstract: A film bonding apparatus in which a film cut to a length corresponding to that of a base plate is bonded to the surface of the plate by the application of heat and pressure with a bonding roller. The film is provided from a continuous roll and is cut to appropriate size, the trailing edge of the film being held tightly to avoid film wrinkling or air bubbles by the suction action of an edge holding member whose effective length is not less than the maximum width of the films to be bonded by the apparatus. The holding member is moveable, at a speed equal to or slightly less than the rotative circumferential velocity of the pressure roller, the speed being automatically adjusted to maintain appropriate tension on the film. Coordinated movement between the film holding member and the pressure roller is provided by a gear mechanism.
