Abstract:
An optical sheet having both a light condensing function and a light diffusing function in a single sheet is to be provided. When a transparent support (18) on which a curable resin coat layer (38) is formed is wound around a zigzag-faced roller (32) on which the reversed pattern of convex-concave patterns is formed to transfer the reversed pattern of the zigzag-faced roller (32) to the resin coat layer (38), gas is blown from a gas jet nozzle (50), immediately before winding the transparent support (18) around the zigzag-faced roller (32), into a gap between the resin coat layer (38) and the surface of the zigzag-faced roller.
Abstract:
A synchronous clock phase control circuit includes a T/8 step phase clock generation unit, a phase selection unit, and four synchronous clock generation units. The T/8 step phase clock generation unit generates eight clocks previously delayed in phase by T/8 from an input clock. The phase selection unit selects four control clocks from the eight clocks generated by the phase clock generation unit based on four phase control signals, respectively. The four synchronous clock generation units synchronize the selected clocks with an externally input trigger signal TR using the input clock as a reference, and output the selected clocks when synchronization is established, respectively.
Abstract:
Resistance elements of a differential circuit is formed of a plurality of transistors and transistors which are biased into a linear region deeper than those of other transistors and have a small transistor size are provided on a side of output point of the differential circuit, to thereby reduce a parasitic capacitance as viewed from the output point.
Abstract:
A pulse-width modulation signal generator having a pre-phase converter which includes N pre-delay circuits connected in cascade, and N main phase converters each of which includes M main delay circuits, where N and M are natural numbers greater than one, and N>M. The output of each of the N pre-phase circuits is supplied to one of the N main phase converters to generate phase converted clock signals used for generating a pulse-width modulation signal.
Abstract:
A process for the preparation of microcapsules having a wall membrane made of a polyurethane urea resin, which includes steps of mixing an oily solution and an aqueous solution, passing the resulting mixed solution through a clearance between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder which are rotated relative to each other to form an oil-in-water type emulsion, and then forming a wall membrane on droplets of the resulting emulsion. In a preferred embodiment, the clearance between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder is preferably in the range of 0.05 to 5 mm, more preferably 0.1 to 2 mm. The retention time of the emulsion in the clearance portion is in the range of 0.02 seconds or more, preferably 0.2 seconds or more. The inner and outer cylinders are in the form of column, optionally conical in part thereof.
Abstract:
An oily liquid and an aqueous liquid as prepared at a temperature of 80.degree. C. are continuously emulsified at a temperature of 50.degree. C. or higher to give an emulsion, then a liquid comprising a polyamine and a concentration adjusting water of 50.degree. C. or higher is added to the emulsion and mixed in a static mixer, the emulsion mix is continuously flown into an encapsulation device from the bottom to the top thereof, and microcapsules are obtained by overflowing after a retention time of 60 minutes on average.
Abstract:
A light-sensitive microcapsule contains silver halide, a reducing agent, an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and a color image forming substance. Another light-sensitive microcapsule contains a photopolymerization initiator, an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and a color image forming substance. The microcapsules are prepared by a process comprising the steps of emulsifying an oily phase containing the silver halide, the reducing agent, the polymerizable compound and the color image forming substance (or an oily phase containing the photopolymerization initiator, the polymerizable compound and the color image forming substance) in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble polymer in water; and forming the shell around the droplets of the oily phase. In the process of the present invention, the oily phase is emulsified in the aqueous medium by mixing the oily phase and the aqueous medium; supplying the mixture to a clearance of not larger than 5 mm between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder; passing the mixture through the clearance while rotating the outer cylinder and/or the inner cylinder. Light-sensitive materials prepared by using the light-sensitive microcapsules are also disclosed.
