摘要: A vehicle is provided having a lift device comprising: a carrier; a swing arm with one end fixed to a shaft and another end coupled the carrier; and a drive for swinging the swing arm on top of the vehicle. The carrier is lowered from the top of the vehicle at an inclination with the point at which the carrier is attached to the swing arm raised. The swing arm comprises a first arm fixed to the shaft and a second arm mobile along the first arm that is coupled to the carrier. Telescoping means displace the second arm along the first arm when the swing arm swings, so that the carrier is retracted when the swing arm is upright. A support device supports the carrier, and support position displacement means cause it to project horizontally from the top of the vehicle when the carrier is lowered.

摘要: A particulate matter (PM) detection sensor is placed in an exhaust gas pipe of a diesel engine. The PM sensor element has a detection part composed of a pair of detection electrodes and a heater part. The detection electrodes and the heater part are stacked in the PM sensor element. A control circuit instructs a heater power supply to supply electric power to the heater part when the diesel engine is started to operate. The heater part heats the detection part at a predetermined temperature T1 within a range of 600° C. to 900° C. for a predetermined period S1 of time, for example, 650° C. for 20 seconds, in order to burn and completely eliminate particulate matter accumulated in the detection part. This control process avoids incorrect detection of the PM detection sensor. After this process, the control circuit executes usual control of the PM detection sensor.

摘要: Disclosed is a volume hologram optical recording medium having a recording layer with low moisture absorption. Specifically disclosed is a volume hologram optical recording medium having a multi-layer structure including a transparent substrate and a recording layer. The recording layer contains a resin matrix (A) and/or a resin matrix (B) and a photosensitive compound (C). The resin matrix (A) is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate (A1) and a polyol (A2) having a —(C═O)O— group and/or a —O(C═O)O— group, while the resin matrix (B) is obtained by reacting an epoxy compound (B1) having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule and a curing agent (B2). In addition, the recording layer has a moisture absorption rate of 1.5 wt % or less.

摘要: A channel switching system without an instantaneous signal loss in a data communication system such as a digital microwave multiple radio communication system. The channel switching system includes a control unit for generating a switching control signal in response to a fault detecting circuit; a unit for receiving a phase adjustment signal from the active receiver unit of an active transmission channel and another signal from the standby receiver, for adjusting the phases between both received signals in response to the switching control signal, and for outputting a switch energizing signal; a high speed switching unit, including a unipolar high speed switching circuit, for switching signals from the phase adjustment unit in response to the switch energizing signal. The switching system further includes a compulsory switching unit, for compulsorily switching the signals supplied to the switching unit. The phase adjustment unit outputs the switch energizing signal to the unipolar switching circuit when a phase coincidence is obtained before a predetermined time, so that the unipolar switching circuit outputs the phase-adjusted signal. The compulsory switching unit enerigizes the unipolar switching circuit, when the phase coincidence is not obtained during the predetermined time, to output one signal in response to the switch energizing signal.

摘要: A melt of a hydrogen storage alloy having an arbitrary composition is cooled gradually at a cooling rate of 5° C./min or less and solidified. Alternatively an alloy having an arbitrary composition, after heating to a temperature equal to or more than a melting point thereof, is cooled gradually at a cooling rate of 5° C./min or less and solidified. Thereby a homogeneous alloy reduced in segregation, precipitates, or inclusions is obtained. The homogeneous alloy is excellent in the hydrogen storage amount, in the plateau property and in durability.

摘要: In an auxiliary signal transmission system used in a multiplex communication system, a first auxiliary signal which is necessary in a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal is transmitted directly without processing in an intermediate repeater station, and a second auxiliary signal which is necessary in at least one intermediate repeater station is processed in the intermediate repeater station, and thereafter, is transmitted to the receiving terminal. Therefore, transmission discontinuity in the system caused by a fault in the intermediate repeater station can be prevented.
