    摘要: Catalytic compositions of oxides of titanium, vanadium and tin that are suitable for the production of phthalic anhydride by oxidizing o-xylene and/or naphthalene in the gas phase. The catalysts exhibit excellent activity and selectivity. The catalyst contains 2 to 15 percent by weight (calculated as V2O5) of vanadium, 1 to 15 percent weight (calculated as SnO2) of tin and 70 to 97 percent by weight (calculated as TiO2) of titanium. In a preferred embodiment the catalyst also contains up to 5 percent by weight (calculated as M2O) of at least one alkali metal, preferably lithium, potassium or rubidium, and more preferably cesium. In an even more preferred embodiment, cesium is present in an amount of from 0.01 to 2 percent by weight (calculated as Cs2O).

    摘要: Solid catalysts suited for the fluidized/moving bed catalytic ammoxidation of alkanes comprise an active catalytic phase having the empirical formula (I): VSbaSnbTicFedEeOx  (I) in which E is an element which provides an oxide of rutile structure or an element which, in combination with V, Sb, Sn, Ti, Fe and/or with another element E, provides a phase of rutile or trirutile structure, or a solid solution of rutile structure, a is a whole or fractional number equal to or greater than 0.5, b, c, d and e, independently, are each a whole or fractional number ranging from 0 to 100, and x is a whole or fractional number determined by the oxidation state of the other elements, such active catalytic phase being deposited onto/into particulates of a solid and porous oxidic support therefor, and are produced by (a) impregnating the solid and porous oxidic support with a solution, in at least one saturated alcohol, of compounds of vanadium and antimony and, optionally, compounds of tin and/or titanium and/or of iron and/or of element E, (b) contacting the solid and porous oxidic support thus impregnated with an aqueous buffer solution having a pH ranging from about 6 to 8, (c) separating the solids from such aqueous buffer solution and drying same, and (d) calcining the dried solids in two stages.

    摘要: An oxidation catalyst formed from V.sub.2 O.sub.5 and TiO.sub.2 of rutile structure is obtained by a process which comprises the following stages:(a) preparation of a solution of Ti(IV) by dissolution (partial hydrolysis) of TiCl.sub.4 in an aqueous solution at a final pH below 1.0,(b) preparation of a solution of V(IV) by heating, in order to dissolve it, solid V.sub.2 O.sub.5 suspended in an aqueous oxalic acid solution,(c) precipitation of metatitanic acid from the Ti(IV) solution at a pH not higher than 1.3,(d) precipitation of vanadium oxide from the said V(IV) solution in the presence of the metatitanic acid obtained in (c), and(e) separation of the precipitate, drying and calcination thereof at an elevated temperature.The process provides a catalyst formed from V.sub.2 O.sub.5 and TiO.sub.2 of rutile structure, which has a specific surface area of the order of 10 to 60 m.sup.2 /g, is highly active, selective and stable under conditions of catalytic oxidation, especially under the conditions of the oxidation of o-xylene to phthalic anhydride.
