    摘要: An identification system includes a reader and one or more tags. The reader identifies tags such as radio frequency (RF) tags. The system divides a number space into n bins, wherein each bin is associated with m unique bits of the number space, and the number space contains the identification codes of the tags. A command is issued to test v bits of the number space. A response is received from a tag, wherein the response occurs when a first portion of an identification code of the tag matches the v bits of the number space. A timing of the response corresponds to a particular bin and m unique bits associated with the particular bin correspond to a second portion of the identification code.

The device comprises a metalization layer and an integrated circuit chip incorporated into the device wherein the integrated circuit chip is capacitively coupled to the metalization layer. The device comprises a first substrate having the metalization layer formed on the substrate, a cap layer covering at least the entire metalization layer and at least a portion of the first substrate not covered by the metalization layer. The integrated circuit chip is coupled to the first substrate, and is placed in proximity and in non-physical contact with the metalization layer. A conductive layer is attached to the integrated circuit chip. The conductive layer has at least a portion placed in a non-physical contact with the metalization layer. The integrated circuit chip is capacitively coupled to the metalization layer through the conductive layer and the metalization layer.

    摘要: A system and method for acquisition management of subject position information that utilizes radio frequency identification (RF ID) to store position information in position tags. Tag programmers receive position information from external positioning systems, such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), from manual inputs, such as keypads, or other tag programmers. The tag programmers program each position tag with the received position information. Both the tag programmers and the position tags can be portable or fixed. Implementations include portable tag programmers and fixed position tags for subject position guidance, and portable tag programmers for collection sample labeling. Other implementations include fixed tag programmers and portable position tags for subject route recordation. Position tags can contain other associated information such as destination address of an affixed subject for subject routing.
