    摘要: This invention is concerned with an article comprising a polyolefin substrate and adherent thereto a vinyl addition polymer of monomers comprising at least 5% by weight a primary monomer selected from(a) monomers having the formula ##STR1## wherein X is --O--, --NH-- or --NR.sup.5 --;R.sup.1 and R.sup.7, individually, are H, methyl or ethyl;R.sup.2 is H or an organic radical, preferably --COOH, --CONH.sub.2 or --COOR.sup.6 ;R.sup.3 is H or an organic radical, preferably methyl, other alkyl having up to about five carbon atoms, --CH.sub.2 COOR.sup.6, --COOR.sup.6 or --CH.sub.2 COOH;R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, individually, are monocyclic alkyl having six or more carbon atoms, acyclic alkyl having nine or more carbon atoms, or alkaryl having nine or more carbon atoms;R.sup.6 is hydrocarbyl, preferably alkyl;n has a value from zero to about ten;(b) vinyl esters of alkanoic acids having at least eight carbon atoms;(c) substituted styrenes wherein the substituent group or groups have a total of three or more carbon atoms;and mixtures thereof; said polymer having surface energy properties such as to form a stable bond with said substrate.The polymer, used alone or in a blend, serves as a coating, a tiecoat, an adhesive or a binder.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provides for superior all-in-one air cleaner/odor eliminator, surface disinfectant and surface multipurpose/all purpose cleaner all purpose or multipurpose cleaners that are compliant with local and federal VOC (volatile organic compound) regulations, are not flammable, avoids use of ingredients which detract from the worlds food supply, are mild to surfaces and materials of construction with a near neutral pH, clean with less work and in a shorter period of time compared to currently commercial available cleaners while also providing superior air cleaning/odor elimination and broad spectrum disinfection of surfaces.Embodiments of the present invention also provide for a superior all-in-one air cleaner/odor eliminator, surface disinfectant and surface multipurpose/all purpose cleaner which uses environmentally friendly components, has a near neutral pH which allows it to be used on various surfaces, which is safe for use on colored surfaces or items, which has low VOC's, which has no abrasives, which has no phosphates or phosphorous containing compounds, which has no anionic surfactants, which has no added electrolytic salts, which has no heavy metals such as zinc, copper and other transition metals, which has no harsh or sensitizing preservatives, which has no silicates or silicones. The formulation according to the present invention has superior cleaning of soils, stains or grease and requires less work to clean surfaces compared to currently available commercial cleaners while also providing superior air cleaning/odor elimination and broad spectrum disinfection of surfaces.

    摘要: A process for encapsulating a wide variety of target materials, including both hydrophilic and hydrophobic materials, employs condensation of two reactive compounds to form shells around core phase particles including target material dispersed in a continuous phase. One of the reactive compounds has at least two active methylene functional groups per molecule, the other being an active methylene-reactive crosslinking agent. Either type of the reactive compounds can be dispersed in the continuous phase, the other being dispersible in the core phase. Applications include controlled release microencapsulation of agriculture chemicals and biocides.
