Abstract: A composition is provided for a disinfectant fogger and cleaner for interior surfaces of confined spaces. The composition is water based and has an aqueous disinfectant containing quaternary ammonium compounds as active disinfecting ingredients, non-ionic surfactants, and a malodor absorbing agent. The composition provides a disinfectant for hard-nonporous and soft surfaces and allows for immediate occupancy and contact with a cleaned interior surface. The composition may be packaged as a ready-to-use disinfectant spray in an aerosol container with an on/off lockable discharge actuator as fine mist droplets that are dispersed onto the target surfaces for treatment.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a unit dose product comprising a pouch formed from a water-soluble film material; and a detergent composition comprising about 5 to about 20 wt % water, about 25 to about 65 wt % of at least one surfactant, at least one amino acid or a salt thereof, a base other than monoethanolamine (MEA) or triethanolamine (TEA), and a non-aqueous solvent, wherein the detergent composition is disposed within the pouch. The composition can further comprise additional components, such as an anti-redeposition agent, an enzyme, a bleaching agent, a bleach activator, a chelating agent, an additional chlorine scavenger, a biocide, an optical brightener, a bitterant, a corrosion inhibitor, or any combination thereof. The detergent composition in the unit dose product can scavenge chlorine to a concentration of 0 ppm in less than about 60 sec after contact with a 1 L water sample comprising up to 4 ppm chlorine.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a unit dose product comprising a pouch formed from a water-soluble film material and a detergent composition disposed within the pouch. The detergent composition comprises about 5 to about 25 wt % water, about 20 to about 40 wt % of at least one surfactant, about 35 to about 55 wt % non-aqueous solvent comprising polyethylene glycol and glycerin, and at least one enzyme. A pack height of the unit dose does not decrease by more than about 30% over a temperature range of 0° F. to 125° F., and a Zein score of the detergent composition is not more than about 1.5% dissolved zein when tested on a 3% dilution. The composition can further comprise additional components, such as base, performance polymer, an anti-redeposition agent, a defoamer, a bleaching agent, a bleach activator, a chelating agent, an optical brightener, a bitterant, a corrosion inhibitor, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods of preventing browning reactions of a raw material compositions, and a formulations containing a sustainable raw material useful as a component in liquid laundry detergents are described. The methods and formulations involve adding a Maillard reaction inhibiting enzyme to the raw material composition, which prevents the reducing sugar from reacting with an amine source and causing discoloration. The raw material composition can be used as a component in a detergent composition, such as a liquid laundry detergent, that exhibits increased shelf-life and consumer confidence. The sustainable raw material can be a sustainable polymer, a sustainable solvent, or a mixture thereof, and the Maillard reaction inhibiting enzyme can be hexose oxidase, fructosamine oxidase, fructosamine kinase, carbohydrate oxidase, or combinations thereof.
