Abstract: A bushing assembly includes a tube with an outer bearing surface, a metal part with an annular flange defining an opening and a plastic bushing with a bushing hub with an inner annular bushing contact surface and an axially extending metal part engagement surface. A friction torque setting connection is formed between the annular flange and the bushing hub and defines a rotational and axial connection between the annular flange and the bushing hub. The connection is configured to vary a radial force applied between the annular flange and the bushing hub with a deformation of bushing plastic material. This is to vary friction between the bushing contact surface and the tube outer bearing surface upon applying a torque to the plastic bushing, causing rotation and axial movement of the plastic bushing relative to the metal part, and causing the deformation of plastic material of the bushing hub.

A reinforcing profiled element (22; 122) is fastened to the second seat rail (16) and is arranged in the inner channel (18). The reinforcing profiled element (22; 122) has a connection section (24), which is led out of the inner channel (18) toward a rear and is connectable to a rear end surface (8) of a seat frame side part (6). The vehicle seat with the longitudinal adjuster, has a seat frame side part (6) connected to a first seat rail (4).

Abstract: A vehicle slouch seat having a carriage that includes a front side and a rear side. A link element is located on a rear side of the carriage and a slideable element is located on the front side of the carriage. A cushion is movable in an upward direction with the carriage connected to a base structure at one of a plurality of latch points. The cushion is prevented being rotated in the upward direction via a cushion rotational prevention structure with the carriage connected to the base structure at another one of the plurality of latch points.

Abstract: A longitudinal adjuster (10), for a vehicle seat (1), includes at least one pair of rails (12), formed from a lower seat rail (14a) and an upper seat rail (14b). The seat rails mutually engage around each other and are movable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction (x) and are lockable to each other by a locking device (16). The locking device has at least one latching plate (18), which is movable in the vertical direction (z). The latching plate has a guide pin (20) protruding in the vertical direction. The upper seat rail has an opening (22) aligned with the guide pin. A guide sleeve (24) extends into a cavity between the seat rails and is accommodated in the opening. The guide pin is guided by the guide sleeve. The upper seat rail and the guide sleeve are connectable by a bayonet catch.

Abstract: A vehicle headrest includes a carriage with support rods, an outer headrest connected to the carriage, a vertical locking arrangement with a locking element having a locked state and a released state relative to a support rod locking interface. Release levers, accessible from respective sides, move essentially along a vehicle direction of travel. Release carriers, moveably mounted to the carriage, moves essentially along a vehicle inboard/outboard direction and moves the locking element into the released state. Each release linkage activates the movement of the release carrier. The headrest also includes a forward and rearward locking arrangement for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage with support rods with at least some forward and/or rearward movement component. The movement arrangement, for movement of the outer headrest relative to the carriage, does not interrupt the release linkage connection for activating the movement of the release carrier.

A first clamping element (20), fastened to the first seat rail and a second clamping element (22), fastened to the second seat rail are usually spaced apart from each other and engage with each other, in response to a defined application of force, for example in the event of a crash. The first clamping element has a connection section (24), which can be connected to a surface (8) of a seat frame side part (6) directed toward the rear. The vehicle seat includes the longitudinal adjuster and a seat frame side part, which is connected to a first seat rail.
