摘要: Automated systems and methods are provided for processing natural language, comprising obtaining first and second digitally-encoded speech representations, respectively corresponding to an agent script for and a voice recording of a telecommunication interaction; generating a similarity structure based on the speech representations, the similarity structure representing a degree of semantic similarity between the speech representations; matching markers in the first speech representation to markers in the second speech representation based on the similarity structure; and dividing the telecommunication interaction into a plurality of sections based on the matching.

摘要: A sterile adapter for coupling a surgical instrument and a surgical instrument manipulator includes a bottom component and a coupling component. The bottom component includes a bottom component opening with a bottom lip having a locking mechanism. The coupling component is rotatably coupled to the bottom component. The coupling component includes an engagement feature that engages the surgical instrument manipulator. The coupling component further includes a locking mechanism opening that engages the locking mechanism when the engagement feature has not engaged the surgical instrument manipulator. The coupling component may include a retention tab that is aligned with the keyway to insert the coupling component into the bottom component opening and then misaligned with the keyway to retain the coupling component in the bottom component opening. A ramp may be provided on a leading edge of a pocket to facilitate engaging the coupling component with the surgical instrument manipulator.

摘要: A device for positioning in the body of an animal, the device comprising a first portion and a second portion that may be positioned in contact with one other, the first portion and the second portion each comprising a biocompatible conductive thermoplastic material, such that when the device is positioned in the body of an animal and electric current flows from the first portion to the second portion, heat is generated by electrical resistance at the point of contact between the first portion and the second portion so as to melt regions of the first portion and the second portion, and when the electric current is thereafter terminated, the melted regions of the first portion and the second portion re-solidify so that a weld is formed between the first portion and the second portion.

摘要: An electrophoresis cartridge can include an integrated electrophoresis assembly including an anode sub-assembly comprising an anode, a cathode sub-assembly comprising a cathode; and at least one electrophoresis capillary having a first end in fluid communication with the cathode sub-assembly and a second end in fluid communication with the anode sub-assembly. The cartridge can further include a reagent container comprising electrophoresis buffer; a fluid conduit in fluidic communication with the reagent container; a pump in fluidic communication with the fluid conduit, the pump configured to transfer the electrophoresis buffer through the fluid conduit from the reagent container to the passage of the cathode sub-assembly; and a sample inlet port and at least one sample line, wherein the sample line places the sample inlet port in fluidic communication with the first end of the electrophoresis capillary through a passage in the cathode sub-assembly.

摘要: A method of registering a location of a dispenser array in relation to a microfluidic array is provided. One of the dispenser array and the microfluidic array can be movable in relation to the frame, and the other can be fixed relative to the frame. Their relative positions can be identified by a set of coordinates. Identification of a fiducial marker can occur in a manner permitting the fiducial reference to appear in a first position of a field of view of a first camera when the dispenser array or the microfluidic array is in an alignment position. Quantities related to a vector displacement from the alignment position to a fixed position on the microfluidic array or the dispenser array can be identified. Quantities determined can be used to guide positioning of the dispenser array relative to the microfluidic array.

摘要: A stapler reload assembly includes a cartridge body defining a housing to receive staples. The cartridge body has a first side comprising a plurality of staple apertures configured to eject staples housed in the cartridge body. The cartridge body has a second side, opposite the first side, comprising a plurality of pusher apertures through which staple pushers of the cartridge body are accessible. A staple retainer is removably coupled to the first side of the cartridge body and at least partially covers the plurality of staple apertures. A cover is removably coupled to and at least partially covers the plurality of pusher apertures. Devices and methods relate to stapler reload assemblies.

摘要: An electronic data file management system may comprise storage nodes containing memory devices coupled through a network to compute nodes configured to request group access to a file on the storage nodes, the request being made by at least two processes running on the compute nodes. At least one of the compute nodes is configured to determine the type of a memory device that includes the file, cause the plurality of compute nodes to collectively access the file in a first access mode, applying a write lock mechanism and disabling a collective buffering mechanism to each of the different ones of the compute nodes if the memory device is a first type, and access the file in a second access mode, applying the write lock mechanism and enabling a collective buffering mechanism to each of the different ones of the compute nodes, if the memory device is a second type.

摘要: A first electronic device may comprise a chassis and first fins. The chassis may be configured to removably couple with a second electronic device. The first fins are configured to interleave with second fins of the second electronic device in a coupled state of the first and second electronic devices. A corrugated thermal interface device comprises folded fins. The folded fins are coupled to the first fins and are also removably couplable to the second fins in the coupled state of the first and second electronic devices. Each folded fin comprises one or more lateral walls, and the corrugated thermal interface device further comprises a plurality of spring fingers coupled to and extending at least partially in a lateral direction from the lateral walls. The spring finger contacts may be contacted and displaced by the second fins in the coupled state of the first and second electronic devices.
