摘要: A system includes a controller for monitoring a fill level of a container. The controller is configured to receive first vibrational response data relating to a vibrational response of the container in a first state, receive second vibrational response data relating to a vibrational response of the container in a second state, and use the first vibrational response data and the second vibrational response data to identify a change in fill level of the container between the first state and the second state.

摘要: A fire suppression system includes a water line, a foam concentrate line, and a ratio flow controller fluidly coupled to each of the water line and the foam concentrate line at respective first and second inlets. The ratio flow controller controls a ratio of water and foam concentrate within a water and foam solution flowing out of the ratio flow controller. The system also includes a first bypass line fluidly coupled between the water line and the foam concentrate line and a second bypass line fluidly coupled to the foam concentrate line at a third position disposed upstream of the second position. The first bypass line facilitates water flow from the water line at a first position upstream of the first inlet to a second position upstream of the second inlet, and the second bypass facilitates foam concentrate flow from the foam concentrate line into a reservoir.

摘要: A sprinkler installation tool includes a first member, a second member, and at least one bearing. The first member defines an axis and include a first surface transverse to the axis. The first surface includes at least one first opening. The second member includes a second member including a second surface in contact with the first surface. The second surface includes at least one second opening. The at least one bearing is between the at least one first opening and the at least one second opening to engage the at least one first opening and the at least one second opening such that a torque applied to the first member to cause the first member to rotate about the axis relative to the second member causes the second member to rotate with the first member responsive to the torque being less than a target torque of rotation of a sprinkler.

摘要: A vehicle includes a chassis, a body coupled to the chassis, a series of tractive elements coupled to the chassis, a hazard coupled to the chassis, and a fire suppression system. The fire suppression system includes a tank configured to contain a volume of fire suppressant, a nozzle having an outlet at least selectively fluidly coupled to the tank and configured to release a spray of the fire suppressant therefrom, and an activator configured to selectively release the fire suppressant from the tank such that at least a portion of the fire suppressant passes through the outlet of the nozzle. The nozzle is oriented such that the spray is directed toward the hazard. The nozzle is positioned less than 8 inches away from the hazard.

摘要: An electronic fire sprinkler system includes a plurality of electronic fire sprinklers that each output a flow of fluid in response to receiving an activation signal, a plurality of temperature sensors that each detect a temperature and output an indication of the detected temperature, a plurality of network devices that detect a distance to at least one of the plurality of electronic fire sprinklers, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit receives a plurality of detected distances, calculates a location of each electronic fire sprinkler based on the of detected distances, determines that a fire condition is present based on the detected temperature, identifies one or more of the plurality of electronic fire sprinklers based on the calculated locations and an identifier of the temperature sensor from which the indication of the detected temperature was received, and transmits one or more activation signals to the identified electronic fire sprinklers.

摘要: Fire suppression systems and methods are provided. The system can include an electronically activated sprinkler (EAS) interlock system to protect a target zone. The EAS interlock system can include a controller. The controller can be communicably coupled with a first detector and a second detector. The first detector can be disposed in an area outside the target zone. The second detector can be disposed inside the target zone. The controller can receive an input signal from the first detector indicating an event occurred prior to or in an absence of receipt of an input signal from the second detector. The controller can provide a hold command to at least temporarily inhibit a sprinkler inside the target zone from actuation based on receipt of the input signal from the first detector prior to or in the absence of receipt of the input signal from the second detector.

摘要: A fire suppression nozzle includes a first support plate, a conduit including an inlet and an outlet, and a baffle made of a porous material extending from the first support plate and at least partially surrounding the outlet to form an interior in fluid communication with the outlet and an end opening. The conduit is configured to receive an inert gas at the inlet and provide the inert gas to the interior of the baffle via the outlet such that the inert gas exits the outlet and passes at least partially through the baffle. The nozzle includes a sound absorbing member extending across the end opening to at least partially enclose the interior, and also includes a sound absorbing insert composed of a sound absorbing material and a second support plate arranged against an outer face of the sound absorbing insert and coupled to the first support plate.
