Abstract: A stroke control has an eccentric member fitting on an eccentric member mounting portion of a drive shaft and the eccentric member is at an eccentricity with respect to the drive shaft and has sliding surfaces which are in sliding engagement with the eccentric mounting portion. A connecting rod rotatably carried by the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric member and swingably connected to the slide. A gear shaft extends through the eccentric member mounting portion and has spline-type gear teeth on end portions thereof, the gear shaft being rotatably supported by the eccentric member. A plurality of screw rods are arranged in parallel with the gear shaft such as to extend through the eccentric member mounting portion, the screw rods being fixed to the eccentric member. Gears screwed to the screw rods and meshing with the spline type gear teeth on the gear shaft, the gears contacting the eccentric member mounting portion.

Abstract: A press apparatus having a crank shaft mounted in a crown and having at least one crank portion, and first, second and third roller followers which are fitted on the crank portion to be rotatable about the axis of the crank portion eccentric with the rotational axis of the crank shaft and which are disposed parallel with each other in the axial direction of the crank portion in positions corresponding to the left and right ends and an intermediate section of the crank portion. The apparatus also has a slide post which is disposed in the crown to be slidable in the vertical direction and which is connected at the lower end to a slide, and upper and lower roller pads disposed in the slide post and respectively having a pressure-contact surface which pressingly contacts the first and second roller followers and a pressure-contact surface which pressingly contacts the third roller follower. As the crank shaft rotates, the vertical movement of the slide post is generated by the eccentric rotary motion of the first, second and third roller followers. The radius of this rotary motion is defined by the distance between the rotational axis of the crank shaft and the axis of the crank portion.

Abstract: A roll feed apparatus suited for use in automatic manufacturing machines, in feeding a sheet-like material intermittently. The apparatus comprises a main sector roll and a sub-sector roll adapted to cooperate with each other in clamping therebetween the sheet-like material and in feeding the same. The apparatus further has a roll release device adapted to release the sheet material from the clamping by the rolls when the rolls are reversed, and a braking device for fixing the sheet material against movement during reversing of the rolls.
