摘要: This invention relates to a device that is intended to synchronize electroencephalograms (EEGs), recorded by any digital equipment, to physical events (sensorial, visual or auditory stimuli) and behavioral events (motor response, vocal response), in order to allow EEG signal mediation for the purpose of visualizing Evoked Potentials or Event-Related Potentials, which are important research subjects in the neurosciences and clinical investigations into neurological and psychiatric pathologies. This invention allows any digital EEG device to be transformed into equipment that can record Evoked Potentials. This invention also provides a method for analog synchronization of EEGs with oscillating electric light-related events and motor behaviors.

摘要: This pain measurement device for measuring pain experienced by a subject is provided with a determination unit for determining a reference stimulation intensity corresponding to reference pain of the subject, on the basis of a relationship between pain levels reported by the subject and stimulation intensities applied to the subject, and a measurement unit which compares electroencephalographic data measured from the subject and reference electroencephalographic data corresponding to the reference stimulation intensity to measure pain experienced by the subject when the electroencephalographic data is measured.

摘要: A method and an apparatus provide electro stimulation to a test subject. A number of electrodes are connected to the brain of a test subject, wherein the voltages present on the individual electrodes are measured and analyzed after the delivery of a stimulus. During a preselection based on the analysis, individual electrodes are selected for the delivery of a stimulus, wherein one electrode is selected from the individual preselected electrodes and the stimulus is delivered to the brain by the electrode. Accordingly, in the analysis using the measurement signals during the preselection, the signals present on the electrodes are examined, in particular exclusively examined, for the presence of signal power or signal energies in the range from 60 Hz to 1 kHz, in particular between 60 Hz and 180 Hz.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods described herein relate to multi-sensory presentation devices, including virtual reality (VR) devices, visual display devices, sound devices, haptic devices, and other forms of presentation devices, that are configured to present sensory elements, including visual and/or audio scenes, to a user. In some embodiments, one or more sensors including electroencephalography (EEG) sensors and a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors, e.g., included in a brain-computer interface, can measure physiological data of a user to monitor a state of the user during the presentation of the visual and/or audio scenes. Such systems, devices, and methods can adapt one or more visual and/or audio scenes based on user physiological data, e.g., to control or manage the state of the user.

摘要: An automated electrophysiological response analysis apparatus for identifying and eliminating signals having non-physiological artifact noise from an averaged evoked potential signal, wherein the apparatus is adapted to identify in an electrophysiological response at least one characteristic representative of non-physiological artifact noise to classify the signal as an artifact signal and remove the artifact signal from a collection of signals used to generate the averaged evoked potential signal.

摘要: A neural stimulus comprises at least three stimulus components, each comprising at least one of a temporal stimulus phase and a spatial stimulus pole. A first stimulus component delivers a first charge which is unequal to a third charge delivered by a third stimulus component, and the first charge and third charge are selected so as to give rise to reduced artefact at recording electrodes. In turn this may be exploited to independently control a correlation delay of a vector detector and an artefact vector to be non-parallel or orthogonal.

摘要: Various aspects of this disclosure relate to a prosthetic cover comprising an array of sensors, which transmit signals to an array of electrodes in a liner that fits over a residual limb of an amputee. Different interactions with the prosthetic cover cause different activation of the electrodes to transmit electrical current through different areas of the residual limb and modulate neurons differently within the residual limb.
