    摘要: A method and system for determining a user's location in a pre-mapped environment from one or more images of the user's vicinity is provided. The method includes providing a probabilistic data structure derived from a second data structure, querying the second data structure for corresponding feature characteristics stored in the second data structure that respectively correspond to each feature characteristic from a plurality of feature characteristics, which may be a subset of an initial plurality of feature characteristics extracted from the one or more images from the user's vicinity, and identifying the user's location from the corresponding feature characteristics. The plurality of feature characteristics is determined by querying the probabilistic data structure.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and products help users recall memories and search for content of those memories. When a user cannot recall a memory, the user is prompted with questions to help recall the memory. As the user answers the questions, a virtual recollection of the memory is synthesized from the answers to the questions. When the user is satisfied with the virtual recollection of the memory, a database of content may be searched for the virtual recollection of the memory. Video data, for example, may be retrieved that matches the virtual recollection of the memory. The video data is thus historical data documenting past events.

    摘要: An image recognition approach employs both computer generated and manual image reviews to generate image tags characterizing an image. The computer generated and manual image reviews can be performed sequentially or in parallel. The generated image tags may be provided to a requester in real-time, be used to select an advertisement, and/or be used as the basis of an internet search. In some embodiments generated image tags are used as a basis for an upgraded image review. A confidence of a computer generated image review may be used to determine whether or not to perform a manual image review.

    摘要: An object recognition ingestion system is presented. The object ingestion system captures image data of objects, possibly in an uncontrolled setting. The image data is analyzed to determine if one or more a priori know canonical shape objects match the object represented in the image data. The canonical shape object also includes one or more reference PoVs indicating perspectives from which to analyze objects having the corresponding shape. An object ingestion engine combines the canonical shape object along with the image data to create a model of the object. The engine generates a desirable set of model PoVs from the reference PoVs, and then generates recognition descriptors from each of the model PoVs. The descriptors, image data, model PoVs, or other contextually relevant information are combined into key frame bundles having sufficient information to allow other computing devices to recognize the object at a later time.
