摘要： A vicarious coaching method included generating a plurality of play selection user interfaces associated with a first team playing football against a second team, The play selection user interfaces include a first play selection user interface corresponding to a first play parameter and indicating a plurality of first play parameter options. The first play selection user interface is generated based on historical data indicative of previous plays executed by the first team. Responsive to receiving user inputs to the plurality of play selection user interfaces, a play called by the user is identified. Responsive to obtaining play identification information indicative of a play executed by the first team and a result of the play executed, the play called by the user is then scored based on the play executed by the first team and the result of the play executed.

摘要： A method includes receiving broadcast fingerprints indicative of broadcast frames of broadcast media streams being streamed to a plurality of channels by a broadcaster and receiving television (TV) fingerprints indicative of an ordered sequence of TV frames of a TV media stream at a corresponding media device. The method further includes matching the TV fingerprints with the broadcast fingerprints by determining a difference between respective broadcast fingerprints and corresponding TV fingerprints of the ordered sequence of TV frames. The matching includes populating a binary tree structure with respective differences. The method also includes detecting a channel change of the media device from a first channel to a second channel in response to locating a value indicative of the channel change in the binary tree structure within a threshold number of children nodes from a root node upon traversing down the binary tree structure.

摘要： A system and method are provided for content-based non-linear control of video data playback. A multimedia database having multimedia data including multimedia content data is searched based on a user query to determine a first set of multimedia data. The multimedia data includes indexes to and condensed representations of corresponding video data stored in a video database. A portion of the first set of multimedia data is displayed at a control device in response to the user query. A user of the control device selects an element of the first set of multimedia data for video playback and video data corresponding to the element delivered to a video device for playback. A user of the control device selects an element of the first set of multimedia data for additional information and a second set of multimedia data corresponding to the element delivered to the control device.

In some implementations, a computing can include a modeling apparatus, a front-end server, a request manager, one or more video file storage devices, a video selector, or a combination of some or all of these. The video selector can select video content for a particular digitized video among a plurality of digitized videos to serve to a computing device responsive to a request. The selection can be based at least in part on how long the particular digitized video has been presented at client devices associated with users having characteristics that match one or more characteristics of the user that submitted the request for video content, as indicated by the modeling apparatus.

摘要： Systems and methods for identifying, in a network environment in which users watch videos that are downloaded or streamed over a network, a video in which a user is likely to be interested based on session context. For example, a server or other computing system identifies prior session contexts in which prior users watched videos and session progress data for prior sessions in which these prior users watched the videos. The server or other computing system determines a session context of a user for whom a video is to be recommended. For this user, the server or other computing system generates a recommendation identifying one or more videos in which the user is likely to be interested, where the user has not previously watched the recommended videos. The recommendation is generated based on the prior session contexts, the session progress data, and the session context of the user.

To determine related annotations associated with a video, a plurality of annotations for one or more intervals of the video are collected and organized into a plurality of groups. Each group includes annotations for intervals of the video that are similar to each other. A group having related annotations is identified, and an annotated clip of the video is formed based upon the intervals in the group. This process can be used to determine any number of groups in a given video having related annotations, forming the respective annotated intervals within a single video, and can also identify and organize annotated intervals within a large number of different videos.
