Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to extended reality (XR) device thermal load management. Thermal data associated with an XR device can be received. A determination can be made that a condition is met for offloading a thermal load of the XR device. One or more edge processing devices within the environment of the XR device can be identified. At least one edge processing device with sufficient computing resources for balancing the thermal load of the XR device can be selected. The XR device can be instructed to offload the thermal load to the selected at least one edge processing device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one approach, includes: sending one or more instructions to apply an initial influencing factor to smart materials of a 4D object. Moreover, the 4D object is configured to deliver one or more microparticles from a start location to a target location along a delivery path in response to the initial influencing factor being applied to the smart materials. One or more instructions to monitor movement of the 4D object along the delivery path in response to applying the initial influencing factor to the smart materials are also sent. In response to determining the 4D object has deviated from the delivery path, one or more instructions to use one or more machine learning models to dynamically weight the initial influencing factor applied to the smart materials are further sent.

Abstract: An embodiment adjusts a position of a piezoelectric generator within a hollow cylindrical tube, the position adjusted to cause the tube to vibrate at a first resonant frequency in response to an acoustic stimulus, the piezoelectric generator configured to close one end of the tube, the tube further comprising an open end disposed at an opposite end of the tube from the piezoelectric generator. An embodiment adjusts, by applying a voltage to the piezoelectric generator, a resonant frequency of the piezoelectric generator, the adjusting changing the resonant frequency of the piezoelectric generator to the first resonant frequency.

Abstract: The illustrative embodiments provide for adaptation of reference architecture documents across clouds. An embodiment includes loading a reference architecture document. The embodiment also includes populating a knowledge repository corpus where the knowledge repository corpus includes data from information technology (IT) products, cloud services, and integrations stored with associated metadata about functionalities. The IT products, the cloud services, and the integrations are stored with metadata. The embodiment also includes classifying, using an incident analysis module, the service incidents based on the reference architecture document. The embodiment also includes detecting flaws in the reference architecture document based on the classified service incidents. The embodiment also includes creating a weighted graph of the cloud services. The embodiment also includes traversing the weighted graph and creating an adapted reference architecture based on the traversed weighted graph.

Abstract: Described are techniques for assembling products using mobile assembling units. An assembling sequence to assemble products using the mobile assembling units is generated, where an assembling sequence refers to the order of operations performed by the mobile assembling units, including the paths traveled in the assembly plant to selectively pick designated parts from designated part chambers of an array of part chambers, which forms the assembling floor of the assembly plant. Furthermore, such an assembling sequence specifies not only the path to obtain such parts, but also specifies the specific parts to be picked from the specified part chamber, the assembling of such parts, including which mobile assembling units are to perform such assembling, etc. Additionally, the mobile assembling units are programmed to move over the array of part chambers in a particular path to selectively pick designated parts from designated part chambers based on the assembling sequence.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an approach for event damage assessment. Specifically, the approach provides for obtaining sensor data from objects with sensors in an activity area and detecting events based on this data. A real-time digital simulation is generated to estimate the damages caused by the detected event. A directed acyclic graph is created to model similar scenario causation factors, which is then refined using data analysis and simulations to create an augmented directed acyclic graph. A neural network architecture is applied to the augmented directed acyclic graph to classify faults. An insurance claim amount is calculated based on the estimated damages amount and the classified fault.
