Abstract: Systems and methods for data collection and phase detection are disclosed. A system can include a data acquisition circuit to interpret a plurality of detection values received from a plurality of multiplexed input sensors, each of the plurality of input sensors operatively coupled to a component of an industrial system. The system may also include a data analysis circuit utilizing a neural network to analyze a subset of the plurality of detection values and a phase of the plurality of detection values to classify a type or an identity of a distant device, wherein the phase of the plurality of detection values is derived using at least one on-board timer relative to at least one trigger channel comprising a trigger signal output from a trigger sensor and formed of a plurality of trigger pulses.

Abstract: Methods and systems for data collection in production lines with future status prediction and load balancing are disclosed. A monitoring system can include a data acquisition circuit structured to interpret a plurality of detection values; a data analysis circuit structured to analyze a subset of the plurality of detection values to determine a future status of a component or the production process of the production line, wherein the future status includes at least one of: a future state of the at least one of the plurality of components, a future condition of the at least one of the plurality of components, or a future stage of the production process, and an analysis response circuit structured to perform an action in response to the determination of the future status, wherein the action includes rebalancing process loads.

Abstract: Methods and systems for data collection with haptic feedback and control of data storage and bandwidth are disclosed. A system can include a data collector to collect data based on a selected data collection routine, a data storage structured to store collector routes and collected data, a data acquisition circuit to interpret the collected data and determine an occurrence of an anomalous condition, a data analysis circuit to evaluate a data storage constraint and adjust a volume of collected data stored in response to the evaluation, wherein the data analysis circuit determines an aggregate rate of data being collected, wherein if the aggregate rate exceeds a current bandwidth allocation rate, then the data analysis circuit requests an increase to the current bandwidth allocation rate, and a haptic user device for generating a haptic stimulation in response to receipt of a signal indicating an occurrence of a specified anomalous condition.

Abstract: The system generally includes a crosspoint switch in the local data collection system having multiple inputs and multiple outputs including a first input connected to the first sensor and a second input connected to the second sensor. The multiple outputs include a first and second output configured to be switchable between a condition in which the first output is configured to switch between delivery of the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal and a condition in which there is simultaneous delivery of the first sensor signal from the first output and the second sensor signal from the second output. Each of multiple inputs is configured to be individually assigned to any of the multiple outputs. Unassigned outputs are configured to be switched off producing a high-impedance state. The local data collection system is configured to manage data collection bands that define a specific frequency band and at least one of a group of spectral peaks, a true-peak level, a crest factor derived from a time waveform. The local data collection system is configured to create data acquisition routes based on hierarchical templates that each include the data collection bands related to machines associated with the data acquisition routes.
