摘要: In various embodiments, the stabilizing face ring joint flange and assemblies thereof can be adapted to include a ring joint gasket and resist leaks when a fluid flowing through a pipe at high temperatures and pressures. The stabilizing face ring joint flange assembly with the ring grooves in each flange can be situated in such a way that once full compression is achieved on the ring groove by the gasket, raised faces of the two flanges can meet to ensure that the rotation of the pump or any potential perpendicular loading do not provide a stress on the gasket that would cause the gasket to deform or cause a seal to be lost.

摘要: A system for providing a sterile fluid connection between a first fluid channel and a second fluid channel. The system includes first and second coupling elements located at an orifice of each the first and second fluid channels, respectively. The first and second coupling element each include a foil that may be peeled off their respective orifices. The system additionally includes a connecting element configured to accommodate the first and second coupling elements and to press the orifices of the first and second fluid channels against one another. Additionally, this connecting element has a recess arranged essentially in the plane of the orifices of the fluid channels for passing the foils through the connecting element.

摘要: An exhaust gas pipe includes: a plurality of pipe bodies which are formed in a tubular shape centered on an axis and are arranged in a direction of the axis and through which an exhaust gas led from an engine body flows; a connection portion which connects a pair of the pipe bodies adjacent to each other; and a gasket which is provided between the pipe body and the connection portion, wherein a flange projecting toward an outer peripheral side is provided a an end portion of the pipe body in the direction of the axis, wherein the connection portion includes a main connection body which has a tubular shape centered on the axis and a pressing ring which is provided with a facing surface facing the flange while sandwiching the gasket in a gap between the flange and the facing surface, and wherein the exhaust gas pipe further includes: coupling members which are provided at intervals in a circumferential direction and couple the flange and the pressing ring to each other; and a deformation prevention member that is provided in an outer peripheral region of the gap.

摘要: Implementations of the present disclosure relate to a blind flange and a method of installing same for isolating hazardous energy in order to provide a safe environment for workers to conduct maintenance or repair work on a facility. The blind flange has a body that defines one or more modified bores. The one or more modified bores are alignable with flanged-connection apertures of one side of a flanged connection. The one or more modified bores are configured to receive and releasably hold a connection member therein, so as to connect to only one side of the flanged connection. The modified bores allow a blind flanged-connection to be disassembled and reassemble in less time than known blind flanged-connections when one side of the blind flanged-connection is disconnected from the blind flanged-connection. Furthermore, the blind flange of the present disclosure allows the blind flange to remain connected to one side of a flanged connection while the other side is disconnected.
