Abstract:
The invention provides an OLED device comprising a cathode, an anode, and having there between a light-emitting layer, further comprising, between the cathode and the light emitting layer, a non-luminescent electron transporting layer containing a compound with a 7,10-diaryl substituted fluoranthene nucleus having no aromatic rings annulated to the fluoranthene nucleus and desirably comprises still further an additional layer containing an organic alkali metal compound, located between the cathode and the electron transporting layer. Devices of the invention provide improvement in features such as efficiency, drive voltage, and operational stability.
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence device includes: a cathode; an anode; and an organic thin-film layer including at least one layer and provided between the cathode and the anode. At least one layer of the organic thin-film layer includes: an organic-electroluminescence-device material represented by any one of the following formulae (1), (2) and (3); and at least one phosphorescent material, in which the organic-electroluminescence-device material may have a substituent. A or Ar may be substituted by a phenyl group or a naphthyl group.
Abstract:
A fluorene-based derivative having a specific structure and an organic electroluminescence device in which an organic thin film layer comprising a single layer or plural layers including at least a light emitting layer is sandwiched between a cathode and an anode, wherein at least one layer of the organic thin film layers described above comprises the above fluorene-based derivative having a specific structure in the form of a single component or a mixed component. The organic electroluminescence device has a high luminous efficiency, and the fluorene-based derivative materializes the same.
Abstract:
An organic light-emitting device includes an organic compound layer containing an organic compound in which the 3-position of a benzo[k]fluoranthene ring is bonded to the 8-position of a fluoranthene ring, and an organic compound having a pyrene ring.
Abstract:
Anthracene derivatives each having a structure including an anthracene skeleton, a phenanthrene skeleton selected from among various phenanthrene skeletons different in bonding site which is bonded to the 9-position of the anthracene skeleton and a group selected from among various aryl groups and so on which is bonded to the 10-position of the anthracene skeleton. Organic EL devices made by using the derivatives exhibit high light emission efficiency and a long life.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent compound including a fusion ring and an organic elecotroluminescent including the same. The organic electroluminescent according to the present invention has an advantage of exhibiting an EL properties superior to existing electroluminescent materials as it has a good thin film stability due to a low crystallization and a satisfactory color purity.
Abstract:
An anthracene derivative having a specific asymmetric structure is provided. The asymmetric anthracenes are useful in an organic electroluminescence device and exhibit efficient light emission and a long performance lifetime.
Abstract:
Provided are a cyclopentaphenanthrene-based compound and an organoelectroluminescent device employing the same. The cyclopentaphenanthrene-based compound is easy to prepare and excellent in solubility, color purity, color stability, and thermal stability. The cyclopentaphenanthrene-based compound is useful as a material for forming an organic layer, in particular, an emitting layer, in an organoelectroluminescent device, and as an organic dye or an electronic material such as a nonlinear optical material.
