摘要: An addition system for introducing particulate material into an industrial process is disclosed. The addition system comprises a vessel for holding the particulate material, a weighing device, piping, a controller, and a frame to support the piping. The piping comprises a first valve for transferring the particulate material to the industrial process, and a second valve for transferring a first stream of pressurized gas from a source of pressurized gas to the vessel. The vessel comprises a filling nozzle located on the top of the vessel.

摘要: A method of delivering proppant to a well site has the steps of transporting a load of proppant in a vessel to a desired location, moving the load, of proppant from the vessel into a container so as to create a proppant-loaded container, unloading the proppant-loaded container into a pneumatic bulk trailer, and transporting the unloaded proppant in the pneumatic bulk trailer to well site. The container is placed onto a bed of a truck and moved in proximity to the vessel. The proppant-loaded container is placed onto a tilting mechanism and then tilted so that the proppant is discharged through a flow gate of a container into a hopper. The proppant in the hopper can then be conveyed to the pneumatic bulk trailer.

摘要: An integrated elevator bin system for efficiently loading and distributing a particulate material within a storage bin. The integrated elevator bin system generally includes a storage bin having an elevator assembly positioned therein for aiding with the even distribution of particulate material being loaded into the bin. The elevator assembly, which vertically extends from a lower portion of the storage bin, includes an internal conveyor having a track and plurality of paddles for transferring the material up the elevator assembly. The upper and lower sections of the elevator assembly include louvered openings for selectively distributing the particulate material into the interior of the bin as the material is conveyed up the elevator assembly.

摘要: A cement silo is rapidly loaded with cement which is sequentially delivered to a cement receiver at the silo by dump trucks. The receiver extends to a blowoff station at the base of the silo, and a riser pipe extends from the blowoff station to an upper end portion of the silo and discharges the cement downwardly thereinto. Loads of cement are thus rapidly sequentially delivered to the silo, and each unloaded truck may quickly leave the site and pick up another load while the next truck delivers its load of cement. This system thus provides rapid sequential unloading and a quick return to service of each unloaded truck.

摘要: A seed carrier includes a main hopper coupled with a frame via leg members. The main hopper has a discharge. A base plate is coupled with the frame. A support arm is rotatably coupled with the base plate at a first end. A belt driven conveyor having a conveyor hopper at a first end and a discharge at a second end is rotatably coupled with a second end of said support arm at an approximate center of gravity thereof. A latch mechanism is provided for detachably coupling the first end of the conveyor with the first end of the support arm such that the conveyor hopper is position below the main hopper discharge. When the conveyor is uncoupled from the first end of the support arm, the conveyor can rotate to a loading position wherein the discharge thereof can be positioned over the main hopper.

摘要: Automation of the delivery of a particulate to a tube contained in a reformer type heater with vertical tubes is disclosed and includes a hopper having an opening at the lower end. A slide gate is mounted on the hopper and selectively projects over the opening in the hopper. A box mounted below the hopper. A primary ramp is mounted in the box and underlaps the opening in the hopper. The primary ramp has an angle of inclination and extends to a lower end of the box. The primary ramp also has a screen. A cone is connected to the box proximate to one end of the primary ramp and a tube is connected to the lower end of the cone for conveying particulate to a tube loading adaptor. A dust collection cone is connected to the box underlapping the primary ramp and a discharge port is connected to the lower end of the dust collection cone. The tube loading adaptor is positioned for connection to the tube in the reformer type heater with vertical tubes. A vibrator is connected to the box.

A material intake station is situated above one of the material receiving containers. A number of endless belt conveyors extend elevationally over the containers. At least one driver is operable to move the conveyor working flights to transport received materials. The conveyors are selectively movable (a) toward one another to a substantially joined condition in which the conveyors operably combine to form a substantially single extent, and (b) away from one another to define discharge openings over selected ones of the containers.
