摘要: A base station or content delivery server in a wireless network is configured to receive wireless network topology information from each of a plurality of wireless user devices. The wireless network topology information indicates which wireless user devices are within radio communication range of each other. The base station or content delivery server is configured to respond to a request for content from a first wireless user device by using the wireless network topology information for selecting a second wireless user device that has the content and is within radio communication range of the first wireless user device. The base station or content delivery server can be configured to forward the request to the second wireless user device, send a resource identifier to the first wireless user device that identifies the second wireless user device, and/or transmit a radio resource allocation to the first wireless user device to create a peer-to-peer link with the second wireless user device.

摘要: Disclosed are techniques for programmatically mapping workloads for storage in different classes of a networked computer data storage environment, using a set of rules or data storage hints and properties of the workloads themselves. With the set of data storage hints, metadata sets are assigned to files of the incoming workloads to the networked computer data storage environment based on the properties of the workloads. Then, a target storage class is determined for each file of the workload from the plurality of storage classes present in the networked computer data storage environment. The workload files are then mapped to a logical bucket that is associated with the plurality of storage classes through a shared namespace, with the assigned metadata set for a file cueing the filesystem modules as to which storage class within the logical bucket to direct the various files of the workload to.

摘要: A computer-implemented method, medium, and system for multi-network/domain service discovery in a container orchestration platform are disclosed. In one computer-implemented method, a pool of servers with a plurality of network interface controllers (NICs) is created in a load balancer and by an operator in a worker node of a container orchestration platform, where each of the plurality of NICs is defined by a corresponding network attachment definition (NAD) object of a plurality of NAD objects. A virtual service object is generated using an annotation corresponding to the plurality of NAD objects. The virtual service object is associated to the pool of servers with the plurality of NICs. An internet protocol (IP) address of the virtual service object is transmitted to the container orchestration platform to update a status of a service object in the container orchestration platform using the IP address.

摘要: The present invention relates to communications methods and apparatus for session load balancing among session processing entities. An exemplary method embodiment includes the steps of receiving from a first device at a Signaling Front End Load Balancer (SLB) a first session initiation request destined for a second device; making a first session load balancing decision at the SLB with respect to the received first session initiation request; transmitting the first session initiation request to a first Session Border Controller (SBC) worker based on the first load balancing decision, the first SBC worker being one of a plurality of SBC workers forming a cluster of SBC workers, making a session mismatch determination at the first SBC worker with respect to a first session corresponding to the first session initiation request; and when the session mismatch determination is that a session mismatch has occurred notifying the SLB of the session mismatch.

摘要: An edge server of an infrastructure service establishes a transport connection in user space with a client and in accordance with a transport layer network protocol. The edge server receives a packet over the transport connection with the client that comprises a request for an object. If the edge server cannot serve the object, it forwards the request to a cluster server with an intent indicated for the cluster server to reply directly to the client. The cluster server receives the forwarded request and determines whether to accept the intent indicated by the edge server. If so, the edge server conveys instructions to the cluster server for sending at least a portion of the object directly to the client. The cluster server then sends at least the portion of the object to the client in accordance with the instructions.

摘要: Technologies for an accelerator interface over Ethernet are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a network interface controller of a compute device may receive a data packet. If the network interface controller determines that the data packet should be pre-processed (e.g., decrypted) with a remote accelerator device, the network interface controller may encapsulate the data packet in an encapsulating network packet and send the encapsulating network packet to a remote accelerator device on a remote compute device. The remote accelerator device may pre-process the data packet (e.g., decrypt the data packet) and send it back to the network interface controller. The network interface controller may then send the pre-processed packet to a processor of the compute device.

摘要: A processor is configured to, in a case where a distribution rule is changed, issue an inquiry as to whether or not an object having same identification information as a received object is stored to at least one storage node as a distribution destination corresponding to a past distribution rule, in a case where a response indicating that the object having the same identification information as the received object is stored is made from any storage node, distribute the received object to the storage node storing the object having the same identification information as the received object, and in a case where the response indicating that the object having the same identification information as the received object is stored is not made from any storage node, distribute the received object to any of the plurality of storage nodes in accordance with a most recent distribution rule.
