摘要： A processing device includes a mounting base, a cutter holder, and a brake. The brake includes a driving member, a resisting member, and an elastic member. The driving member includes a main body and a driving shaft movably placed in the main body. The driving shaft is driven to move in a straight line by the main body. One end of the driving shaft is movably coupled to the cutter holder, and another end of the driving shaft is coupled to the resisting member. The elastic member is positioned between the main body and the resisting member. The driving shaft is configured to move toward one side of the driving member adjacent to the elastic member under an elastic restoring force of the elastic member, whereby the cutter holder moves with the driving shaft toward one end of the driving member adjacent to the elastic member.

摘要： A machine tool for detecting a brake failure more reliably in a mechanism that stops the rotation of a vertical shaft by at least two brakes includes a ball screw extended in a vertical direction, a driving motor that rotates the ball screw, a movable part that vertically moves along the ball screw in accordance with the rotation of the ball screw driven by the driving motor, at least two brakes that prevent a fall of the movable part while power supply to the driving motor is stopped, a brake controller that releases at least one of the at least two brakes while power supply to the driving motor is stopped, and a detector that detects presence/absence of a fall of the movable part or a fall distance of the movable part resulting from the release of the at least one brake, thereby detecting a trouble of an unreleased one of the at least two brakes.

摘要： A protective apparatus and a machine tool are provided. The machine tool includes an operational element, a driving element, and the protective apparatus. The operational element and the driving element are disposed on machine table. The protective apparatus includes an insulating unit, conducting unit, capacitance sensor, and control unit. The insulating unit is disposed between the operational element and the driving element. The driving element drives the operational element by the insulating unit. The conducting unit contacts the operational element. The capacitance sensor electrically connects the conducting unit for sensing capacitance of the conducting unit. The control unit electrically connects the capacitance sensor and the driving element and determines whether a user approaches the operational element based on the capacitance. When the control unit detects that the distance between the user and the operational element is too close, the control unit stops the operation of the operational element.
