摘要: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for dynamic network resiliency, such as by monitoring and controlling the configuration of one or more network components to ensure proper endpoint alignment, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a tool (e.g., resiliency agent) that can automatically recognize symptoms of issues with a network component, such as autoscaling, latency, traffic spikes, resource utilization spikes, etcetera, and respond appropriately to ensure continued and optimized operation of the network component. In many embodiments, the tool may dynamically reroute endpoint traffic, perform traffic balancing, and/or drive autoscaling to optimize operation of the network component in response to recognizing symptoms.

摘要: An example operation may include a system comprising one or more of receiving a heartbeat failure notification in a VNFCI when the VNFCI is in standby state, sending to a Virtual Network Function Manager (VNFM), by an operational state machine, a next state request message, determining if a peer VNFCI is online when an administrative state of the peer VNFCI is online, determining an operational state of the peer VNFCI when the peer VNFCI is online, sending a first next state response message with a standby state to the VNFCI when the peer VNFCI operational state is active, sending a second next state response with an active state to the VNFCI when the peer VNFCI operational state is not active, examining, in the VNFCI, a next state attribute in a received next state response message, staying in a standby state when the next state attribute is standby, and transitioning to active state when the next state attribute is active.

摘要: A method for providing a dormant state for content management servers is provided. Client devices are allowed to conduct transactions with servers when the servers are active. However, in a dormant state, the servers are not allowed to accept new transactions. Thus, by utilizing the dormant state, software upgrades can be made to one server at a time. Alternatively, all servers can be taken down for major upgrades, with the servers still operated in a read-only mode based on a file image from a point in time just prior to the shutdown. When the upgrade is completed, the servers can be returned to the active state.

摘要: A system includes one or more databases configured to store at least one configuration rule and one or more processors in communication with the databases. The processors may be configured to compare a product parameter to configuration rules to determine a drift item based on a current value of the product parameter being different than acceptable values defined by a test specified by the configuration rule, the test comprising one of a plurality of test types. The processors may be further configured to store, based on a determination that the drift item is not in a drift database of the databases, the drift item in a database, receive a record of one or more actions performed to resolve the drift item, and in response to receipt of the record, modify a status of the drift item from unresolved to resolved in the database.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to managing a distributed system with various local configurations using one or more centralized configurations. A central configuration system may store one or more centralized configurations for a set of applications. Updates to the centralized configurations may be transmitted to one or more of a plurality of local systems. The plurality of local systems may execute one or more of the set of applications. Each application may be associated with a local application configuration specific to a local system on which the application is executed. The local systems may determine whether the updates to the centralized configurations apply to the local application configuration for the one or more local applications stored on the memory, and update the local application configuration when the updates are applicable.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for updating network configuration documentation. In an example, a user can upload network configuration documentation with updates to a network to a server. The server can create an update topology corresponding to the documentation by identifying symbols that represent network components. The server can identify changes by comparing the update topology to a configuration data of an existing network. For example, the address of a gateway or the connections to the gateway can change. The server can cause the changes to be presented to a user, such as by highlighting the changes in a diagram. The user can confirm the changes, such as with a conversational workflow, and the server can save the changes to a database. The system can also send commands to the applicable network components to effectuate the confirmed changes.

摘要: In an example, a method includes receiving, by a network management system (NMS), a configuration request comprising first configuration data for a network device, the first configuration data defining a data structure comprising a first property/value pair; generating, by the NMS from the first configuration data, a corresponding first path/value pair for the first property/value pair, wherein a path of the first path/value pair uniquely identifies the first path/value pair in an associative data structure; modifying, by the NMS, the associative data structure based on the first path/value pair; generating, by the NMS, from the associative data structure, a configuration resource comprising second configuration data for the network device, the second configuration data comprising a second property/value pair that corresponds to the first path/value pair; and sending, by the NMS, the second configuration data to the network device to modify a configuration of the network device.
