Abstract:
A high pressure coolant tube for receipt by a tool body that includes a coolant tube body with an annular flange adjacent to the exit body end. There is a threaded collar that has an exterior threaded surface. The threaded collar contains an interior collar bore comprising an enlarged diameter interior collar bore surface portion and a reduced diameter interior collar bore surface portion. There is an exit seal pocket defined by an exit-facing flange surface of the annular flange and a reduced diameter body section and the enlarged diameter interior collar bore surface portion. There is an entrance seal assembly pocket defined by an entrance-facing flange surface of the annular flange and a reduced diameter body section and the enlarged diameter interior collar bore surface portion. An exit seal is in the exit seal pocket. An entrance seal assembly is in the entrance seal assembly pocket wherein the entrance seal assembly comprises an entrance seal sandwiched by a pair of thermoplastic polyester elastomeric rings.
Abstract:
A fuel line of a turbo-machine having a conical screw connection, wherein the conical screw connection has at least one screw socket into which a sealing cone having a sealing cone surface and a sealing cone face of a screw connection body connected thereto is interlockingly inserted, and screw socket and screw connection body are directly or indirectly screwed to each other, wherein the sealing cone has a metallic, flat sealing element which is received in a receptacle of the sealing cone surface, wherein the flat sealing element is a metal which is softer than the material of the sealing cone.
Abstract:
A coupling arrangement for a screw coupling for liquid conduits of a high-pressure cleaning apparatus is provided. The coupling arrangement includes a plug part which is pluggably connectable to a complementarily configured plug part of a second coupling arrangement of the screw coupling for establishing a liquid-tight and releasable connection therewith with a sealing ring interposed therebetween, and a connecting part having a thread that is screwably connectable to a complementarily configured thread of the second coupling arrangement. The thread can be of multiple-threaded configuration and the connecting part can include a clamping element which is aligned in an in-line relationship with the thread relative to the thread longitudinal axis and is releasably clampable against a complementarily configured clamping element of the second coupling arrangement by axially inserting one into the other.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to modular purification systems using removable purifier cassettes for purifying liquids including, for example, liquids used in semiconductor manufacturing. A purification system may include a removable purifier cassette having a purifier inlet port and a purifier outlet port, and a manifold assembly. The manifold assembly can include a plurality of connection systems to that provide manifold ports to provide fluid to/from the cassette. In some embodiments, the connection systems may use connection nuts that can provide 360 degrees of thread engagement with less than 360 degrees of rotation.
Abstract:
A flexible hose assembly is disclosed. The flexible hose assembly has a first coupling member with a first anti-rotational element on a first end and a crimping element on a second end, the crimping element being configured to receive a first flexible hose. The flexible hose assembly also has a second coupling member with a second anti-rotational element on a first end, the second anti-rotational element being configured to mate with the first anti-rotational element. The flexible hose assembly also has a clamping ring configured to retain the first ends of the first and the second coupling members together.
Abstract:
A pipe joint includes first and second joint members having fluid channels communicating with each other, an annular gasket to be interposed between abutting end surfaces of the both joint members, and a nut configured to couple the joint members. The nut is provided with an inner surface treated layer. The inner surface treated layer includes a Co (cobalt)-P (phosphorous) alloy metal coating provided on an inner surface of the nut and a fluorine coating provided on the surface of the alloy metal coating.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a fluid coupling, in which a coupling member is readily retained by a retainer and the retainer is readily attached to or detached from the coupling member, and a retainer for such a fluid coupling. A retainer includes an annular gasket retaining portion for retaining a gasket therein and an annular coupling member retaining portion which has an inner diameter greater than that of the gasket retaining portion and retains one coupling member. At an inner circumference of the gasket retaining portion and an inner circumference of the coupling member retaining portion are formed annular grooves, respectively, for holding therein elastic rings, respectively.
Abstract:
A pipe fastening structure includes an end member attached to an end part of a metal pipe, and a nut for fastening the end member attached to the metal pipe to a counterpart. In the pipe fastening structure, the end member has a first spherical part to be brought into contact with a sealing surface of the counterpart, a second spherical part formed integrally with the first spherical part so as to be in contact with a sliding surface formed in the nut, and a neck continuous with the second spherical part and having the shape of a straight pipe.
Abstract:
A swivel fitting used to connect to various components in a fluid handling system is provided. The swivel fitting incorporates an annular chamfer surface to reduce the affect that the fitting has on the flow properties of the fluid when the fluid is caused to flow through the fitting. The use of the swivel fitting in a paint supply line is also described.
