    Abstract: A snap-fit lever for actuation of a valve assembly has an elongated valve stem with a ball. The snap-fit lever has a handle portion and a seat portion coupled to the handle portion. The seat portion defines an entry, a retention cavity, and a passage from the entry to the retention cavity. The passage guides the ball from the entry to the retention cavity. The snap-fit lever has deflectable fingers protruding from the seat portion to form part of the retention cavity and the passage. The deflectable fingers deflect to allow the ball to move from the passage into the retention cavity and capture the ball. The deflectable fingers enable rotation of the handle portion about a first axis of the elongated valve stem and allow rotation of the handle portion about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis for moving the elongated valve stem into an actuated position.

    Abstract: A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.

    Abstract: An improved showerhead assembly is provided for use with handheld showerheads. The handheld showerhead includes an elongate handle having a rear side with a cavity, and a front face including one or more nozzles for spraying water. In addition, the showerhead assembly includes a mount for affixing to the male threaded pipe found in a shower stall. The mount includes a ball which engages with the cavity so as to allow rotatable and secure attachment of the handheld showerhead to the mount. The ball may include a preliminary alignment chamber and a locking chamber, and the cavity may include a tension pin which projects into both of these chambers so as to provide further support for installation of the handheld showerhead to the mount. In addition, a spring-button tab mechanism may be utilized for managing the engagement and disengagement of the ball with the cavity.

    Abstract: A slip joint assembly for joining multiple pipes is provided. The slip joint assembly includes a flow expander that is connected to a downstream pipe and is tapered toward a forward end. An inlet bellmouth is coupled to the forward end of the flow expander and defines a flared inlet positioned within an upstream pipe. An annular seal assembly is coupled to the upstream pipe and includes a ball seal positioned around and forming a seal with the flow expander to operably couple the upstream pipe and the downstream pipe.
