Abstract: Wood-type golf clubs and/or golf club heads include: (a) a golf club head base member including a face member having a ball striking face; and (b) a polymeric body member engaged with the golf club head base member, wherein the polymeric body member is formed via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process) and/or engaged with the golf club head base member via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process). The polymeric body member forms at least a portion of a crown member of the club head in some structures.

Abstract: An example method for constructing a three-dimensional object in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure includes projecting an image of a section of a three-dimensional object on a building plane through a projection unit, forming a cured section by irradiating laterally an interface of a photopolymerizable material on the building plane with light corresponding to the image of the section of the three-dimensional object, moving a support plane laterally to detach the cured section from the building plane resulting in a gap between the cured section and the building plane, and filling the gap between the cured section and the building plane with photopolymerizable material.

The die assembly has a main frame and a support assembly for the main frame. The support assembly includes components cooperating between the main frame and a base upon which the main frame is supported to allow controlled relative vertical movement between the main frame and base to thereby permit controlled alignment between the main frame and an upstream component that delivers flowable material from the supply to the die assembly.

Abstract: The plastic structural article includes an elongated tubular shell having opposed end sections, a middle section there between and an interior cavity. The interior cavity has a foam core situated therein. The foam core comprises steam expandable polymer beads which when expanded substantially fill the interior cavity. The bead and shell are of a similar plastic composition enabling the articles to be reground and recycled. An apparatus for forming the articles and an associated method of manufacture are also disclosed.

Abstract: A centralizer can be produced from a process comprising forming a plurality of composite bow spring from a fiber and a resin, curing the composite bow springs in a desired shape to form a plurality of cured bow springs, disposing a first portion of a resin-wetted fiber about a cylindrical mandrel to form a plurality of collars, disposing the plurality of cured bow springs onto the mandrel with the bow spring ends in contact with the first portion of resin-wetted fiber, disposing a second portion of the resin-wetted fiber about the cylindrical mandrel, curing the collars to form a cured centralizer, and pressing the mandrel out of the cured centralizer.

Abstract: A method of forming a conduit having at least one strip-shaped fabric substrate dividing the conduit into channels. The method contains obtaining an extrusion die configured to form the wall of the conduit and a slot configured for receipt of a strip-shaped fabric substrate and introducing a strip-shaped fabric substrate into the slot. The strip-shaped textile is air permeable and contains enlarged regions at the first and second longitudinal edges. Molten polymer is introduced at a first point in the extrusion die and at the first point the slot and the area configured to form the wall of the conduit are not in communication. The slot is exposed to the molten polymer at a point between the first point and the die exit forming the first polymeric layer of the conduit such that the first longitudinal and second longitudinal edges of the strip-shaped fabric substrate embed into the molten polymer.

Abstract: A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
