Abstract: A terminal fitting (1) includes a rectangular tube (11) with a bottom wall (12), two side walls (13A, 13B) rising from the bottom wall (12) and a ceiling wall (15) facing the bottom wall (12). The rectangular tube (11) includes a terminal insertion opening (17) on one end, and a tab (T) is insertable therein. A resilient contact piece (21) is arranged along the bottom wall (12) inside the rectangular tube (11). Two protection walls (31A, 31B) extend respectively from the side walls (13A, 13B) to close the terminal insertion opening (17), leaving a clearance for entrance of the tab (T) between the ceiling wall (15) and the protection walls. The protection walls (31A, 31B) have facing edges (35A, 35B) facing the mating protection walls (31B, 31A), and the facing edges (35A, 35B) extend obliquely with respect to a line (L) perpendicular to the bottom wall (12).

Abstract: In a battery wiring module that is to be attached from a Y-axis direction (second direction) to a single battery group in which multiple single batteries that have electrode terminals are aligned in the X-axis direction (first direction), multiple holding units that are coupled in the X-axis direction and constitute a holding plate are each provided with a locking hook including a first locking surface and a second locking surface, and a locked hook that includes a first locked surface and a second locked surface, and by relatively sliding the holding units in the X-axis direction, the holding units can be coupled in a first locking state in which the first locked surface is locked to the second locking surface, or in a second locking state in which the first locked surface is locked to the first locking surface of the locking hook and the second locked surface is locked to the second locking surface.

Abstract: An optical connector includes a first connector portion having a first optical fiber, a second connector portion having a second optical fiber, and an aligning part. Abstract: A method for manufacturing a terminal-attached electric wire including an electric wire including a core wire having plurality of strand wires, and a female terminal including wire barrels crimped around the core wire. The method includes a first step of applying ultrasonic vibrations to the core wire, and a second step of crimping the wire barrels in a region of the core wire to which ultrasonic vibrations have been applied. The first step includes applying ultrasonic vibrations to the core wire while leaving a compression margin for the crimping by the second step such that the resistance between the electric wire and the female terminal is stabilized until the strand wires of the terminal-attached electric wire are severed when the core wire of the terminal-attached electric wire is further compressed after the second step.

Abstract: An electric wire with a connecting terminal and a method for manufacturing the electric wire are provided. The electric wire has a plurality of wire conductors and an insulation cover that covers the wire conductors. The plurality of wire conductors includes the connecting terminal to be connected to a counterpart component at an end of the electric wire at which the plurality of wire conductors is stripped of the insulation cover. The connecting terminal has a first portion of the plurality of wire conductors, a second portion of the plurality of wire conductors folded back on top of the first portion, the first portion and the second portion being welded to each other, and a through hole extending through the connecting terminal at a location where the first portion and the second portion are welded to each other.
