Abstract: A connector arrangement includes a plug nose body; a printed circuit board positioned within a cavity of the plug nose body; and a plug cover that mounts to the plug nose body to enclose the printed circuit board within the cavity. Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical connector and a second electrical connector. At least one of the electrical connectors may comprise an insulating housing comprise a plurality of housing portions. The housing portions may support pairs of electric signal contacts, which may be arranged to carry differential signals. The electrical signals contacts may be edge coupled or broadside coupled. The insulating housing may further comprise a plurality of conductive ground shields which may be arranged to electrically shield adjacent pairs of electrical signals contacts. In one implementation, a shield may have walls shaped and positioned to surround a pair of electric signal contacts on three sides. The walls of a shield may extend along the direction of mating.

Abstract: An electrical connector. Multiple first and second terminals are arranged respectively on upper and lower surfaces of a tongue to form upper and lower rows. Abstract: An electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) assembly for an electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), often referred to as, optionally having one of at least two interchangeable power supply cords with plugs that conform to different technical standards, such as National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 5-15P or 6-20P. The interchangeable power supply cord plugs each include a thermistor adapted to monitor plug temperatures. The electronic module is configured to disable charging until a proper resistance of the thermistor in the plug is detected. The electronic module is also configured to automatically switch between 120 volt and 240 volt operation based on which of the interchangeable power supply cords is connected to the electronic module.
