    Abstract: A power storage module includes: multiple power storage elements that each include a pair of electrode terminals and an electrode arrangement surface; and a battery connection module that is mounted on the multiple power storage elements. The battery connection module includes an insulating protector that is provided in correspondence with a predetermined number of power storage elements. The insulating protector includes: a first position portion that engages with a first positioned portion provided between the pair of electrode terminals on the electrode arrangement surface of one power storage element; and a second positioning portion that engages with the second positioned portion provided in the periphery of at least one of the pair of electrode portions on the electrode arrangement surface of the one electrode terminal or on the electrode arrangement surface of the one other electrode terminal.

    Abstract: A battery pack includes a cell group, a spacer, a plurality of bus bars, and a bus bar holder. The cell group includes stacked unit cells, each including a cell body having a power generation element and an electrode tab having distal end portions bent along the stacking direction. The spacer is disposed between adjacent electrode tabs. The bus bars electrically connect the electrode tabs to each other. The bus bar holder that holds the bus bars. The bus bar holder includes a restricting member disposed between adjacent electrode tabs, and extends along the stacking direction to restrict the electrode tabs by sandwiching the electrode tabs with the spacer. Portions of the electrode tabs are welded to a surface of the bus bars facing the unit cells when the stacking direction positions of the portions of the electrode tabs are restricted by the restricting member and the spacer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module that includes a stack of battery cells disposed in a housing, where each battery cell of the stack of battery cells has a terminal, and a bus bar having a body and an indicator disposed on the body, where the bus bar is configured to couple a first terminal of a first battery cell of the stack of battery cells to a second terminal of a second battery cell of the stack of battery cells. The battery module also includes a sensing component disposed on the indicator and configured to monitor a condition of at least one battery cell of the stack of battery cells and a weld physically and electrically coupling the sensing component to the bus bar.

The carrier assembly includes a plurality of cell connecting sections each holding a corresponding bus bar assembly and cover portions associated with the cell connecting sections.     Abstract: A protection element attachment tab made of a single flat metal plate and mounted on positive and negative electrode terminals of a cylindrical cell to connect between the positive electrode terminal formed on one end surface of the cell and the negative electrode terminal formed on another end surface of the cell with a protection element that prevents overdischarge between the electrode terminals. The protection element attachment tab includes a planar region facing the end surface when mounted on the electrode terminal; a first protrusion protruding from the planar region in a direction along the planar region, a leading end of the first protrusion protruding outward from the end surface of the cell when the planar region is mounted on the electrode terminal; and a second protrusion shorter than the first protrusion, protruding from the planar region in a direction different from the first protrusion along the planar region.
