摘要: A wire conductor is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and is not likely to, when it is ultrasonically welded to a connection terminal, cause a welding defect in a welded portion. A wire conductor includes: a lower strand layer in which a plurality of strands formed by twisting together a plurality of bare wires 1a made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy are bundled and twisted together; and an upper strand layer formed by twisting a plurality of strands around an outer circumference of the lower strand layer, wherein in a cross section of the wire conductor that is orthogonal to its axial direction, a proportion of an area occupied by gaps formed between the lower strand layer and the upper strand layer to an area of gaps that are not occupied by the bare wires is 63% or less.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a flat ribbon type conductive wire body and a flat ribbon type wire harness. The flat ribbon type conductive wire body includes a conductive core body, an insulating layer, and a shielding layer. The insulating layer wraps the conductive core body, and the shielding layer is disposed outside the insulating layer. 摘要: A high-voltage electrical cable assembly includes a central wire strand containing at least seven wires formed of a first alloy and a plurality of outer wire strands twisted around the central strand. At least one outer wire strand of the plurality of outer wire strands contains at least seven wires formed of a second alloy different from the first alloy. There is an electrochemical potential of about 2 volts between the first alloy and the second alloy. A method of assembling a high-voltage electrical cable assembly is also presented herein.

摘要: An aluminum alloy contains at least 0.03 mass % and at most 1.5 mass % of Mg, at least 0.02 mass % and at most 2.0 mass % of Si, and a remainder composed of Al and an inevitable impurity, a mass ratio Mg/Si being not lower than 0.5 and not higher than 3.5. In a transverse section of the aluminum alloy wire, a rectangular surface-layer void measurement region having a short side of 30 μm long and a long side of 50 μm long is taken from a surface-layer region extending by up to 30 μm in a direction of depth from a surface of the aluminum alloy wire. A total cross-sectional area of voids present in the surface-layer void measurement region is not greater than 2 μm2.
